Information

The Waimate District Council looks after this campsite and for a small fee you can experience the goodness. Please register and pay on arrival - information is on the registration booths. This campsite is across the Lake Aviemore equidistant from Aviemore Dam and Benmore Dam. Camp underneath the willows right next to the lake. Heaps of places to call your own. There are toilet facilities here as well as recycling and water. This place is extremely popular with the locals, who camp here for the season.
