Great cheap site with beautiful scenery.
Many farm animals too. Great short drive from Auckland quite site too. No showers though

It was a beautiful and a fun place to camp.
Turkeys, ducks, and little pigs roam about and greet you but aren’t pestered. Plenty of space and quiet. Place to wash dishes and eat in the shelter. Compost toilet is sorta smelly but it’s fine really.

Very nice place and view, there was a public toilet you can use.
You can set you tent on the grass, wich is so much better than a parking place. The owner was very friendly as well. The gate shuts at 9 pm.

The only thing... there were alot of musquitos. So after dark you really should stay inside!! Other than that it was very nice.

Our first camping spot in NZ and it's lovely; beautiful spacious field.
Lots of farm animals as you drive in. Definitely worth a visit.

Great campsite, located 30km away from AKL Central.
Good spot to start exploring the Waitakere Range.

You have to call the auckland council to book your nights (6$ pp). Located just next to a farm, as you can see on pics. The farmer was really nice, give us some advices and brochures about walks and camps around. Stayed 4 nights.

It feels like there's no one around, just a little bit noisy because of the planes taking off the international airport.

The campsite's really large, no worries about finding a place to park, with a long drop toilet (clean as usual).
