Te Kaha Recreation Reserve, Maraetai Bay
Beautiful waterfront location. Te Kaha is 74km east of Ōpōtiki with space for up to 10 campers. Self Contained vehicles can stay maximum of 3 consecutive nights. Dogs are allowed but under control at all times. Please camp by toilets where there are no "no camping" signs. Caravan toilet disposal sites at Te Kaha and Waihau Bay Holiday Parks (Charge may apply).

I was little stupid and parked on the wrong site.
Got no fine put a slab in the face of a local. Be carefull there!!

Good toilets and directly at the beach.
Next to the street, but it’s quite. Cannot complain. And there are signs!

2 flush toilets and a children playground.
Beautiful sunset at this campground :)
You must park near the road, fortunately there was not much traffic at the time.

Almost perfect, lovely area, beautiful views, close to the ocean.
Clean flushing toilets. Right next to the highway, wagon noise slightly louder than others next to the road because the site is at the bend so they have to brake and accelerate. Only a few wagons passed, a relatively quiet road.

Nice place with 2 toilets (one was permanently closed...).
But you have to stay close to the road and there ate no bushes or something else between. That's why -1*
