What an amazing spot, especially if you have children!!

Free gas BBQ, clean toilets and lots of playground equipment.

If you are not a morning person, only downside will then be trucks waking you early morning.

A great place to park overnight, good sized part for the dog to have a run in, easy access to the local river, and free BBQ from 10 till 8 , toilets were clean and tidy.

Talking to the local council worker who said the chicken numbers have been reduced.

    Great little spot.

The roosters in the farm house are a little noisy at first light but apart from that was a great stay. Toilets at park were clean. River was good for a quick tub up.

At only a 15min drive from Napier this place is a gem!

It's next to a quiet road but at night there's hardly any traffic. Toilets are very decent. There are trash cans. The playground was perfect for pur little girl. And there's even free electric bbqs. At night we heard the mopoke owls calling eachother. And there's some chooks running about and hoping you'll'share a bit of food.

    Loved this place.

Amazing play ground for kids (or adults) and a large grassy area right next to the car park for the kids to run around in. Toilets are very basic but they were clean with paper in but as mentioned no lights in. Hens and cockerels are friendly and roam around and may wake you with there dawn chorus but well worth it.

Sited right next to the children’s playground.

The passing road isn’t too busy. The on-site toilets are clean but have no lighting. We didn’t try out the bbq stand in the park. The cockerels woke us in the morning. Can’t complain as it’s all free.

    Parked right by the ocean.

There was a single bathroom less then a minute away, the parking lot was super full. Watched the sunrise in the morning on the rock beach

An excellent spot to stay for families.

The playground is awesome and heaps of space to kick a ball around.

    Really nice place!

Flash toilets cleaned every morning, nice playground for children (we tried everything after the children left). Good with the trees as shelter from sun and rain, free running curious chicken, right outside the village. Can recommend that spot.
