Incredibly chilled spot that is gorgeous.

3 vans here - we are big but not a problem, two smaller vans here with us - could be difficult if 3 large vans. Last space taken at about 6.30 pm on a Sunday. Park well used by dog walkers earlier and families having picnics and swimming. Bins and recycling bins. Lois the best we have experienced - impressively clean.

Excellent campsite, campers in two out of three spots so plenty of room during my stay.

(3 would’ve been extremely tight!) Security visited twice, once to lock toilets and once (after knocking to let you know), to lock gates. Above and beyond!

seemed like a nice place but there was a car weirdly parked with desolate state of things around it (thrown around stuff seemingly creating a view of “trash”), the guy claimed it has broken down and asked

me to run some errand for him (there was another campervan next to me, he didn’t ask there).

it would’ve been probably harmless but as a travelling solo female i’m a bit more picky about spots when it comes to feeling of safety so i decided to move on

    Excellent freecamp !!

    Fantastic area.

Beautiful lake, nice toilets and open shower with drinking water. Quiet and peaceful with birds chirping. Only 3 dedicated lots so have to be early if parking overnight.

Beautiful place to stay for 2 nights, nice & quiet, playground for the kids, beach is an estuary and is quite sheltered from most winds, nice shallow water when the tide comes in, plenty of bird life

, free bbq and drinking water, outside shower and really up to date toilets, little walkway through the hill at the back. Felt safe here, will come back

Got in at 6.15pm as they were locking the gates but they let us in!

Designated overnight spots were full but we couldn’t get out again so stayed the night in a normal car park and didn’t get into trouble. Nice clean toilets open all night. Gorgeous sunrise over the lake in the morning, incredible view.

    Super coin !

Douche et toilettes, vue sur l'eau et barbecue ! On peut même se baigner, c'est parfait, par contre attention à l'accès, on peut le louper facilement !

Filled up be 4pm on a long weekend.

We were lucky as we arrived by 1pm. Very busy during the day as it is so shallow so lots of families, but quiets right down at night as the gate gets locked at 9pm. Great for a free spot close to the city. Very nice and new flush toilets, drinking water and cold shower station. Lots of picnic tables around. They even have bins for recycling different things (glass, paper, plastic).

    Parking right by the beach.

Two out of three places were busy. The park is below the residential area and the road down is somewhat difficult to find in the dark. We were not disturbed by any trains or roads above.

Beautiful spot with water views over Welcome Bay.

Can be tricky to find. Look for a sign on the left "Beach Access". If you end up at a playing field car park you have gone about 200m too far. Room for 3 vans. Toilets (locked at night) BBQs, benches and bins. Very quiet and out of the way and we had the park to ourselves on a Saturday night!! Would definitely stay again.

Clean toilets, quiet and close to the city, small area so don't come too late !!

Many people walking their dogs during the day.

You shall pay attention to hours also because... They close a gate at some point at night. So you won't be able to leave the park. They don't say "when" they close. Just that in winter time they close at 6pm. It's April but they decided it was winter and we got stuck at 7:45. We had to call the council with 2 other cars stuck behind the gate... It took almost an hour to send someone and they wanted us to pay 40$ so that guy opened the gate. Just absolutely stupid... When I asked "what is winter time exactly for you ?" They just replied it was starting arround march until they don't know when... So yeah. If you want to avoid that kind of bad experience (if you work a night shift for example.... Avoid.)

    Public toilets are clean as.

Got benches for dining or breakie.

Nice view over the bay and suburbs.

Even got ramp for your jetski or small boat.

    Place for about 15 cars.

Motorhomes are a bit big for this place.

Look on the road for the rotary park sign. (Dubble entrance)

If you follow GPS you end up on someones property.

    Very nice spot!

Surounded bij water. It is located on a mini peninsula in a park in a suburb. There are 3 spots (if everybody parks normaly in the lots).

Toilet is clean and stays open during nighttime. Bring your torch, because there is no light in the toilets. Gate of the park closes at 9pm during summer and opens at 7am.
