We got there at 7pm and it was locked.
Locks at 6pm and opens in the morning so I’m guessing if you need to leave over night you can’t get out.

2 parking spaces marked with very faded green lines (it gets checked you parked correctly), gate locked at night.
Was here during weekend and the street, although in probably peaceful neighbourhood, got quite busy until about 11 pm, the morning was the same. Lots of runners and people on walks.
There’s a water fountain nearby and lot of people wander there (it made me a bit nervous, but there wasn’t a reason for that honestly).
Toilets open at night.
At the other end there is Kulim park with two spaces as well, I felt a bit better about that location but it was full.

It's really quiet, peaceful and beautiful here.
There are two toilets available, that are spacious and clean, but only two parking spots for campervans and they fill up fast. At night the parking lot gets closed, which adds more safety. ☺️

Tried to get a spot here, the 2 car spaces are not clear at location.
It is confirmed by a sign but if you come after sun goes down then it’s hard to know where to park. We came at 6pm in May and the 2 spots were taken so come early if you want to stay here. Toilets looked lovey

Small parking lot but only two spots.
Not as busy as the kulim park spot, and you don't hear the traintrack here. 24/7 clean bathroom. Beautiful view of the bay. You get locked in at night.

Underrated!
This site was very quiet, felt safe, great views, two very big and clean bathrooms, garbage bin and just a couple of minutes drive from Countdown.
