It’s a car park , not suitable for large vehicles.
The toilet closing at 7 pm and open in the morning. Not suitable for overnight due this reason .lots of street lights and vehicles, cannot cook. I wouldn’t call this a camping place .

Basic parking around the park.
Toilets are closed at night so freedom camping is suited. There is a laundromat next to the park in case needed.

Big park with lots of spaces to park.
Toilets are available but not always clean. Trash bins around the park and park benches to sit and have food or a cup of tea. Can be noisy on the main street side of the park but closer to the skate park is alot more quiet. Not a bad spot for a night or 2 if in Palmerston North.

Was ok for one night.
Right next to a street and a skate park so it can get noisy. Flush toilets close by. We then went to i-Site to have a shower there for 2$ pp.

Stayed in August.
2 girls felt a little unsafe/dodgy area arriving late at night (10pm). Only camper around staying on street parking basically, unclear where applied as applicable places to stay.
Toilets only open 8am - 5pm but cleaned daily very clean.
I-site 2 minute drive away amazing facilities $2 private shower for 20 minutes hot water open from 9am. Supermarkets (countdown etc) all close by!
However only free place to stay round there so thanks for providing the option!

It is a carpark next to a big park with very clean public toilets with sink, which are open all night, next to a skate park (on Saturday morning there were basically little kids riding, not teenagers
). There are a lot of places and it is very close to what seems the downtown, Rugby Museum, Apprentice Brewery and some big supermarkets like Pak n Save or Countdown. It can be a little noisy but you have a lot of space to move to and avoid it.
