Close to legendary surf breaks Mangamanu and Meatworks, with a less busy + worthy surf break straight out front.
Lot's of space. It can hold 20-30 vehicles, and in the summer season it often does. It's popular.
Toilet a few hundred meters to the south, at the Meatworks carpark (no camping there, but it's a nice short drive or 5 - 10 minute beachside stroll)
A train or two will likely wake you up in the night.
It's a very open / exposed spot, so I'd be less inclined to stay here if it's puffing a strong onshore wind.
