Really overpriced for the quality of the facilities.

The showers and toilets were dirty and unclean.

The kitchen needed a deep clean too and the majority of pots, pans and utensils were covered in old food.

There is unlimited hot water for your shower and enough gas hobs but the place is not well kept.

We loved Fairlie, such cool people and great views!!

And make sure you have a pie from the pie shop all within a 5 minute walk from the campsite!

Campground was okay, basic, clean and functional. The fire place in the kitchen was a winner! More heating in the bathrooms would have been awesome, or even a mat to keep your bare feet from the freezing concrete especially with a toddler, husband felt a bit awkward hanging round the ladies to nab said toddler after his shower.

    Nice campground, fairly priced.

Tidy and clean bathrooms and kitchen. WIFI has extra costs of 5$ per 1 GB.

Spots are spacious and mostly quit, if you‘re not too close to the road.

Great place to stay, friendly, accommodating staff.

Called ahead as going to arrive late - Mary Jane said no problem. Ended up staying 2 nights as was such a relaxing place to chill. Easy walk to town. Watched rugby World Cup at local pub. Make sure you try the pies at the bakery and you can get a great meal at Carnegie’s all within walking distance. Good tracks for walking and bike riding. Laundry and good kitchen facilities. Value for money

Great last minute late stop here.

Wonderfully friendly and accommodating. Kitchen is large and we were there in September so very happy for the wood burning stove. Washrooms clean and new, and a heated bathroom thank goodness! The lady had a wifi voucher that the previous camper dis not use so gave it to us for free. Great spot.

Lovely campsite on our way up the island.

Lots of shaded areas, hot showers, good kitchen area. The WiFi is expensive, and due to a communication fault we had to move our tent after setting up, but no worries. It’s a well priced campsite - 15 dollars each for non powered site.

Great campsite with powered site facilities and clean showers with hot water.

The campsite also has a well equipped kitchen, but it gets a bit busy during dinner time. There are also laundry facilities and a small play area for kids. Lovely medium sized campsite. We stayed here in a campervan but it has cabins too. We never had to wait in a queue to use the showers. Reasonable price of 38 dollars for two people in a camper van in the powered site.

As our camper had no heating, we asked if there were any cabins available.

Unfortunately all were fully booked. We were however given thick blankets to keep us warm. The woman at reception was a typical Scouser from Liverpool, jolly and efficient. The facilities were fine and it was a short walk into town.

Lovely small, clean and quiet holiday park.

Spacious sites. Lots of options to choose for shade or sun. Clean and plenty facilities and a very well equipped kitchen. Great value!! But what is most important: very friendly and helpful owners! We forgot a nice jacket, they found it and sent it back to us without asking for anything in return! Thanks guys, your holiday park is a home away from home!

Great customer service, Mary Jane held a spot for us at short notice during a very busy time.

We arrived late and left early so can’t say much about the park itself other than it was relatively small but tidy and had the right facilities. Useful stopover on the way back from Queenstown to Christchurch.

Lovely place to stay, with a helpful owner who offered me a free towel to use cause I'm a cyclist.

They even have a reserved area for cyclists to pitch their tents :) it cost $15 a night to tent, with nice facilities and a cosy TV room. I'd highly recommend this holiday park!

Nice flat grassy sites with plenty of space.

We were there on what was presumably a busy night around New Year and still felt we had space to spread out. Facilities were a little dated compared to a Top 10 park, but all the important standard features were there and at a very reasonable price (Powered site $30-45pp @Top 10 vs. $18pp here). Major perk is being <5min drive from The Paca Shack - Fairlie's Gem Alpacas.

This is a nice little park, very well maintained, very competent and friendly staff.

Fine amenities, good cabins. Would and have recommended this to anyone!

We went here also due to the reviews on Rankers.

Fairlie is, with a car, an ideal base for Tekapo, with their Tekapoan attitude and overrated prices.
