    Parking behind a city park.

Get‘s noisy at 05:30 as it‘s a pick up area for big trucks. Other than that there is a cafe/backery on the other side of the street such as luxury public toilets.

Coming from the pride of the Mighty Mainland, Mid Canterbury.

Winton provided quite the experience. We were overwhelmed with the extermly high standards they showed. Compared to the extermly dissapionting low standards Invergagill showed. We would highly recommend Winton as your next top travel destination. WATCH OUT GOLD GOAST

Camp area is a shared truck/ carpark/ campervan site located right in the middle of town behind a lovely small park.

Modern public toilets across the road. Did get a bit noisy about 5.30am with trucks leaving for the day but otherwise a good spot.

    Perfect spot for overnight.

Public restrooms and a lively pub available across the street.

Area gets pretty muddy with rain so be mindful of where you park and what kind of vehicle you have.

Surprisingly quiet for being right next to the main road.

Just off the main road, right in the town.

Toilets and pub so all your problems solved.

We had breakfast in the gardens.

Just off the main road in town so it's easy to find.

Public toilet just across the road. I would suggest to stop here just to take a nap for the night, cuz there isn't really a "view" or anything special. Gravel ground and there's a dumping station too.

Perfect spot to pull over and camp for a night.

You will need to be fully self contained as there is no facilities. In saying who needs facilities when you have 2 pubs in walking distance. Nice meal at the middle pub. A little road noise in the early hours from the trucks. We loved our visit to Winton.

Ample parking, clean restrooms a short walk away, water and dump station, plus restaurants very close.

Did get noise from highway, as well as locals cutting through gravel lot at high rates of speed during evening, but this ended after dark.

Freedom parking in the centre of town!

Not bad at all!! Close to the pub, shopping, etc. Quiet and desolate in a sense during winter... It's 4 degrees now... just the basics. But an awesome hi tech loo across the road makes it worth a one night stay!

In the town with all facilities around, flush public toilet across the road.

Fresh drinking water tap and dumping station on same site. Recommend!

A basic carpark in a small town near pubs and public bathrooms.

Water and a dump site are provided as well. Would absolutely stay again.

A carpark in the centre of Winton.

Dump site and water, shining new toilets playing classical music across the road. We had a few beers in the pub across the road with very friendly locals. In summer, sheep shearers depart from this place early (5am-ish) but we've hardly heard them. Self-contained only. Free wifi at the local library.
