The entire carpark is dedicated to freedom camping which pretty much garanties you to find a spot.
It's a "kiwicamp" so you get access to all the facilities if you're ready to pay (laundry, showers). There is a direct access to the beautiful beach. It was not our favorite spot ever but we would still recommend.

Awesome place, first time freedom camping and this is really good.
Shower pressure is good, clean and tidy toilets and free to use. Fresh water filling 50c to 10mins. Shower $2 for 5 mins. Didn't see any waste water dump station. Bit windy at night can make motorhome sway.

Nice quiet car park with very short walk to the beach and the harbour.
Good amenities, shower, laundry, toilets, cooking facilities, but you have to get a kiwicash card from the local dairy, and everything is charged, (water to fill up is 50c for 10 mins).
Toilets are free though, and very nice.
No bins which was a shame.
The local pub/cafe seems to have closed down, so not much around except a kids playground.
Nice quiet spot to spend a few days.

Big car park.
Toilets, showers and washing machine to be paid with Kiwi card you can purchase down the road at the dairy. Beautiful spot, walkway to the beach or a 10 min bike ride to Anzac Bay. Friendly locals with a cute cafe/bar a couple minutes walk away. Plenty of room if you’re in a caravan or motor home.

Free and basically just a small parking area, but just next to a beautiful beach!

We were a bit concerned after reading the latest reviews about suspicious people hanging around, but still wanted to check out the location.
It’s a nice spot close to the beach with free toilets. But we decided to leave because of several potentially homeless people who were on site with their rundown vans, consuming drugs and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. We are traveling with a small child, so didn’t want to risk getting into trouble. Pity.
