    Amazing place and free.

    With clean toilets and showers.

Carpark by the beach with four marked spaces for self contained vehicles.

There is a playground directly in front of the spaces, but when we spent a night there, the few kids playing didn't bother us at all. The toilets are ok, and there is a water fountain with drinking water as well as trash cans and picknick benches on site. The beach is just a few meters away with lovely white sand. Good for a little stroll!

Just a drive through review from midwinter, so take it with a grain of salt.

Toilets were dated and dark in the evening. Few spots but easy parking though. We ended up moving down the road to another spot and it worked out much better.

    (Feb 2022) really nice spot.

5 marked spaces, each big enough for a fire transit sized camper, available parked end to end in a small car park right on the beach. Clean toilets with outdoor showers right next to the spaces. BBQs and pinic tables close by. Was full up by 6pm. Felt safe all night.

    Good spot.

Down side is that there are only 4-5 spots. When we got there, one camper had taken up 2 spaces so we had to squeeze into a small space. The spaces are along one side and you have to parallel park (they’re not drive in spots).

We would recommend getting here early. Some of the other freedom camps close by have restricted camping during the summer, this seems to be the only one without season restrictions. So bare this in mind as it quickly fills up.

There are toilets, they are ok.

Excellent spot right on the beach.

Bathrooms and outdoor cold shower. Free gas grills cleaned daily by the county (awesome!). We found the most incredible shells on this beach. Only spots for 4 campers tho. We didn’t realize we had to park in a designated area but got lucky no ranger came by. Our kids loved the park playground. Would have stayed on more days if we could.

Space for 4-5 campers in designated bays, perfect next to beach and a quiet park.

Toilets and cold showers in the block next to the parking. Very nice to walk in beach in eve and morning.

We stayed here for one night on our way up the coast, was very windy but overall good.

Only 5 spaces for vans but we were just 3. Toilets ok and a cold shower, plus a lovely 8km beach to have a run on in the morning. Not so scenic one way as you're in a part of town but 20m to the beach the other way so who cares?!

Great spot on the right as you come into the car park area, good toilets and outside cold shower that were cleaned every morning, the most beautiful swimming beach.

Great stop for two nights !
