Lovely spot to Park during the day with public toilets and a rubbish bin and walks, stayed one night of the 3.

Had a terrible night sleep, great spot for cars doing donouts at the entrance wee hours of Wednesday, police came out at 11pm, cars driving on the green lawn in front of carpark after midnight. Security camera onsite. Was told by local I-site it's not safe for freedom camping anymore as druggies go there and didn't recommend parking there on your own.

Plenty of parks and space if you're desperate with view of the water but so noisy with people coming and going, loud music until 2am.

Has toilet. Not a good option if you want a restful, peaceful evening, wouldn't stay here again

    A restful spot.

Sunrise straight over a concrete slipway. Very flat estuary.can walk on it.Toilets & yes paper.

Local gathering spot for picnics and late evening.always something to watch. Several parks.Consider boaties and trailers.Would return.

Beautiful spot with asphalt parking in front of grassy areas with shade trees and two picnic tables.

Lovely walks nearby and views across to Matakana Island. Popular spot for locals walking their dogs or putting in their boats.

We spent New Year's Eve and we really enjoyed having the carpark for ourselves and the relaxing sound of the waves.

Picnic tables available on a grassy area with trees. Nice to have a quick hat with locals and tourists coming to take their dog for a walk or use the jetty for their boats. Basic toilet facilities. Stunning starry sky view at night.

Found this small place at rankers.co.nz as well.

Good place to sleep and enjoy the sunset.

Nice location by the sea, but its close proximity to Katikati meant that our Friday night stay was shared with various folk, out for a good time into the early hours of the morning.

It might be a different story if you chose to stay here on a working week night.
