Nice stay here, lovely views, calm waters and is sheltered, gets quite busy with the boats coming and going, clean toilets with outside shower and drinking water, can stay 3 nights, miles away from any
shops so be prepared. Parking for 5 or 6 motorhomes.

Such a visually beautiful and energetically calm spot, cute little boats across the way, shallow waters.
I took my SUP for a paddle and had a swim. The toilet was clean and well lit. Look forward to staying again.

This is a nice spot to stay overnight.
Freedom camping is allowed and there are public toilets next to the parking area - very clean (!) and they are not locked overnight. You need to bring a torch because there is no light in the toilets. It's very quiet and the view was great. We had a sunset over the bay in all different colours and saw a stingray in the water because the tide was low and we were exploring the area a bit. We would definitely come back here to spend the night.

Deep in the heart of orchard country - another quiet waterfront location.
Boat ramp, public toilet, and directly across the water from another freedom camping spot at Kotuku Reserve. Specified overnight parking is right on the water - a nice spot.
