Queenstown Gardens and Lakeside Track
A bit of serenity among the Queenstown craziness. A great place to relax and recollect your thoughts, the lake side track starts from here and can take you all the way along the side of Lake Wakatipu around to Kelvin Heights. Located right next to the main beach - handy for ice creams and summer swims.

This is an easy walk along the lakeside - so flat we did it with a pram.
The frisbee golf also looked fun. Must do when in Queenstown.

A lot of native plants and trees, and clear water. Amazing views and nice beaches can be very hot around that area.

Never played disc golf before.
Good fun, good way to explore the gardens and pass an hour or two. Chatted to some others playing who were friendly and much better than us.

Take a frisbee to the Queenstown Botanic Gardens, they have a free frisbee gold course, we played there for the first time, had a hilariously good time.

This is a wide track along the length of Lake Wakatipu, from Frankton all the way into Queenstown via the Botanical Gardens.
Cyclists use it too so be aware. It is down on the lake edge.
