    Such a nice walk!

Fairly flat - easy for all types of walkers & could do in trainers. Lovely scenes of mountains & lake. We parked on Rutherford Road which carpark at the end of it. There was also another car park off the main road which is a decent size.

    A stunning, yet easy, walk.

Takes between two to three hours to do the whole circuit. There are two public toilets along the trail. The perfect outing for mountain, as well as wetland, views.

Quiet and sheltered place to stay.

Great view of the lake, 2 hours to walk around, close to Arrowtown and Queenstown. Good hike trail and Shotover River. Nice for picnics too!

A great option when time is short - approx 90mins, 8 kms.

Always looks different by different times of the day. A nice easy leg stretch.
