I find Milnethorpe Park a sanctuary to recover from the bustle and distractions of life.

It has so much to offer to the good and no so good walker and a connection to the wildlife that we miss. I look to see how many godwits have made it back here every year from their other home in Siberia.

The beach front is not crowded. The driftwood is vast. I always find a "treasure of nature" on the beach.

I would like to thank Dick and the army of volunteers to have the foresight and the energy to keep this gem of nature open to those willing to seek and find. I hope you take you time to find what I have. My wife and I go there many times during our holidays.
