It's really a great place, wonderful view, very quiet and fair price ($12.5 per person - in an honesty box) unfortunately the showers are currently not working, but the toilet is very clean!

Definitely lives up to the hype.
Wonderful seaside campground with $1 4-minute hot showers, clean toilets and very practical communal kitchen.
The sunset is spectacular here. Great small community vibe, we got invited by some locals who have been camping there 40 years to join them net fishing. Was a really good experience. Loads of friendly campers.
Barry comes around with tokens for the shower which are just $1 for 4 minutes. Shower and toilet block may older style but they are very clean and functional.
Cell tower on the hill so great 4-bar 4G coverage if you’re with Vodafone.
Will definitely be back.

Don't come here unless you want to be scammed!
Booked in advance, paid for, drove 2 hours and showed up to someone else on our site. No staff was to be found. Don't bother booking or paying because anyone can just show up and take your site. We tried to contact the site staff for about a week now - no answer on the phones, no emails back, nothing - still trying with no response. Literally scammed. Also, it feels like you're camping in someone's backyard as the area is surrounded by houses and the site itself is incredibly underwhelming. It's small, the ground is hard, the beach is a 4WD beach that's quite a while away for being advertised as "at your feet" and the kitchen is just under a gazebo. Not worth it - book somewhere else. It wasn't even worth us trying to awkwardly fit our tent somewhere.

Amazing views, friendly hosts, clean and peaceful.
I loved no wifi. Great waves when swell is on. It is a must go place. Our family loved it. Thank you

Give them a call on the cell (021 418 274) to book).
It’s a beautiful, well maintained slice of scenic heaven. We stayed with our two dogs (keep your dogs on leads) and will be back. Toilets and showers were spotless & there’s a friendly wee dog that lives next door who loves a belly scratch. There’s no reception or wifi but don’t be put off, it gave us the break from the world we all need.

Secluded, cosy and amazing showers for only a couple of dollars.
This is a smaller campsite but amazing views of the beach and the kitchen facilities are awesome. Caretaker is friendly and helpful also. Nothing bad to say except I can see when this place gets busy there isn't much privacy but not a big deal. No bugs either but beautiful sunsets!

Young crowd, noisy, and really just a camping spot.
No reception to check in at, but rather an honour system with a caretaker who drives through twice a day and you have to buy tokens for the shower from.
We stayed here after reading amazing reviews. Unfortunately our experience did not match.
Men’s urinal out of order. This left two men’s toilets, one of which the light didn’t work in and had no windows so couldn’t be used. Showers alternated between high pressure and super hot and low pressure and cold, with no way to control temperature or intensity. Toilet and shower blocks were very used and dated. Grass has burrs in it, ground was uneven, and view of sunset only available for campervan area.

Really lovely, quiet campsite with an epic view!
Sits on a hill above the ocean (lovely beach just 5 mins walk, but not good for swimming). Showers are HOT and great water pressure, and they run a long time with just 1 $1 token. And I take long showers! Kitchen is clean with lots of space. Manager was friendly, and whole site seemed well taken care of.

Lovely site overlooking the sea, steep hill down to the beach.
Quiet when we got there in mid January. $1 token needed for showers but good temperature and plenty of time. Owner friendly and handy if you need anything.

The first review says it all.
Great spot. When we were here we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Awesome view from the camp spot. Need tokens for the shower that you can get from the caretakers. If they aren't around there is contact info. We drove down to their house and paid for our site and to get tokens. $1 for 4mins. Showers were hot, maybe too hot and you can't control the temperature. But not complaining it was still nice to have a shower. Nice beach, but not for swimming quite dangerous. Would definitely go back and stay longer.

Very nice camp, friendly staff and a beautiful location.
Toilets were okay (nothing special), kitchen is open but covered by a good roof and surrounded by big plastic layers like windows (sorry, can't explain it any better ;-) ). There are two fridges, heating plates and some power plugs to charge your devices in the kitchen area.
Its a very short walk (under 5 minutes) away from the beach but you can actually see it from the camp because it is on a little hill. The view is lovely.
Price: 18 $ for a couple (unpowered), 22 $ for a couple (powered)
