Set in a sheltered bay with stunning coastal surrounds, Cable Bay is a great place for families to relax on the beach, swim, kayak, fish or explore the nearby walking tracks.
Situated on a pest free island, so please leave your rats at home! From Otehei Bay, turn right at the end of the wharf and follow the archaelogical walk towards the southern end of the island which takes about 30 mins. Look for the white triangle marker in the bay.
There is no water at Cable Bay Campsite until further notice. Book Urupukapuka Bay or Sunset Bay campsites as alternative camping options located on Urupukapuka Island.
