    A jewel!

So peaceful. All kiwi families with their huge cars and tents were in the back part of the large area where the toilets ands sinks are. If you don't mind walking 100m to the droptoilet you can tent in the middle section directly by the lake and have the feeling that you are all by yourself. Swimming, no pollution and cool warden.

The place is nice and in good shape. The grass is not too high for example.

The toilet was not usable because of the dirt and the rubbish bins were very full. For these conditions we don't pay $7 pp and moved on.

    Fantastic spot.

It's quite a drive and it's a steep access-way down to the bay itself. But once you arrive, you'll thank yourself.
