Great campsite, better suited to small vehicles for the real nice spots.

When you get down the wee hill, if you’re no bigger than say our 7-metre Sprinter van you can head down to the left, if it’s not busy. These limited spots here are gorgeous, but lots of tree cover so not very good for solar, or Starlink. On the other side, to the right, is a larger area, more suited for bigger vehicles, but not as serene I guess. We’ve stayed before, but moved on this time. It is a very small but sheltered campsite.

There is a picnic table. I'm finished here with good features of this place. There is a long drain toilet which is perfectly fine for this remote and scenic area. However, the campsite costs 15$ per adult and is not serviced at all. The toilet is so dirty that I felt sick of the look of it. You can't go on there. If you raise prices of basic campesites in a touristy area you need to justify it with frequent cleaning of the only facility provided. A free hand sanitizer would be a good idea too.

Stayed one night on our way to Milford Sound.

The area is beautiful. Spent most of the evening inside due to rainy and cold weather. Rating point deductions for price and not so clean toilet
