We loved this place and extended our stay here.
It is small, friendly, with great facilities and really well maintained. Kelly was really helpful and had some useful recommendations for us.
A great option for staying near Queenstown.

Clean facilities. Big kitchen with pan, potes and plates. Very quite, although close to a big road. Cheap and only 40km Queenstown.

We stayed here on Christmas Day, and paid $35 for 2 people on an unpowered site.
Staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are great and super clean. The site is beautifully maintained with pretty plants, perfectly mown lawn and a view of the mountains. They also have the cutest flock of animals that you can feed for free!

Thank you so much to Jen who welcomed us into the camp late at 7.30pm after we had a slight change of plan in travelling back towards Queenstown early due to road closures.
The camp itself was brilliant. Great facilities, a gorgeous log cabin housed a basically new kitchen and accompanying lounge and I would imagine it would be great if you had kids. Lots of beautiful views of the mountains around the area and ever so convenient for a quick drive into QT the next morning. Thank you again!

Knowledgeable staff. Facilities were immaculately clean, free hot showers, with no timers. 44 dollars for two people on a powered site. Kitchen and dining facilities were excellent, and clearly still very new. Easy walk to lakeside. We stayed on our way to Te Anau and would highly recommend.

Geat site, but failed to say the site is a building site at the moment on their front page.
Had to use unisex toilets and track through mud to get to camper. Should discount it at this time due to ongoing works

The place is nice, surrounded by mountains and the lake.
Bathroom seems to be clean. Although the grassy powered campsites are uneven, makes no sense so sleep there in a campervan. Other sides have a rocky underground, makes it quite uncomfortable. The bathroom offers only two showers which firstly offer a lousy water pressure and secondly aren't enough for all woman on the campsite. The kitchen is really well equipped but silly small only two stoves and two sinks and no space for more than 8 people. Especially during cold season and in cold evenings it makes very difficult to stay there and cook something because everyone wants to be inside.
Definitely not the best campsite we had in New Zealand. Wouldn't go there again.

This is a friendly place with good facilities.
Good showers, a well equipped kitchen and a big BBQ thoughtfully provisioned with tools, cleaner and even a hand towel dispenser. It is not glitzy, the amenity buildings are fairly rustic, but that is part of its charm. It is a short walk to the beautiful lake. We were positioned quite near the road but luckily it was not busy and as we were in an RV we were not troubled in the slightest.

Very frustrated.
Booked the stay in April and never got a confirmation of booking. Then they rung and said I had 5 bookings. So i went up there and confirmed that I only had the one booking and where we had booked for (the tent site we wanted). We have been there previously and enjoyed our stay in that particular tent site so asked if we could have the same site. Family were coming up too so they went up and asked if they could be near us, they showed them where we were and my family measured up the site beside where we were booked and said yes can they have that site, this was also confirmed. We turned up to have our family reunion holiday at Kingston and got told that our tent site was now somewhere else. So frustrating, yes we were by family but not the sites we had booked. We were right by the main road and at night felt like Buses, trucks and cars were driving right beside our heads, even had stones flicking up off the road hitting our tent, as there was no protection just small shrubs between us and the road . We did get an apology when we arrived and got 20% off our booking but this did not make up for the frustration of no sleep and not getting the area we had booked. The area was booked so that we could see our kids going to tv room etc from our site, where we were we could not and had to walk with them.

Meet expectation.
Nice toilet/shower. Clean kitchen. TV room for the kids and their grandpa. Nice motorhome parking layout. Friendly front counter lady. One thing that i do like to comment is the BBQ facilities was not maintained/clean. The grill was rusty. You basically could not use it unless you use a layer of aluminum foil.

Very good value @ $35 for a powered site for 2 people and also very good a cheap WiFi. Facilities may be a bit dated but very clean and in perfect condition. The lady on reception was very nice and helpful to us and our stay here was a very pleasant one.

So this will be my first negative rating, the stay wasn't worth the money.
For $20 per person/night (non-powered of course) they gave a kind of parking spot. Very small, surrounded by neglected flowerbeds, butts and tea bags lying around. Due to missing hedges, or the like, the guests of the other "parking spots" jumped around my campervan, I had absolutely NO privacy! I can't imagine that the beautiful photo, which is shown here, has been taken at Kingston Holiday Park.
The only good thing: The sanitary facilities are ok and very clean. I've visited a lot of campsites with better quality and lower prices!
