Fantastic central location with a lovely lakeside walk into town.
Our go-to spot in Wanaka! We’ve stayed here 3 times over several months (winter and early spring) and always had a great experience. The showers are clean and hot. While the kitchen can get messy at busy times, it’s well-equipped.

Clean showers, good free WiFi, very central, lots of things to do with kids.
Kitchen is huge and clean but not really well equipped. Some pots but no cutlery, been to way better equipped ones.
And the pricing is unreasonable.
Paid for one person for an unpowered site (sleeping in my SUV) 60$. Would have been the same for 2 people in a campervan on a powered site. Not cool.
Plus laundry was 6$ too wich is more than average.

2 adults on powered motorhome site.
Excellent park. All the facilities are very good.
Plenty of toilets and showers with plastic duck boards in showers. Why don’t all campsites have them?
Laundry $6 each for washing and drying. Good sized machines and long cycles. Good value.
Good location near the buzzy town centre with plenty of eating and drinking opportunities. We love Wanaka.
A 9 not a 10 as the WiFi gets overwhelmed when most are on site in the evening.
Our 3rd visit and would come again if we get the opportunity for another trip.

Expensive campsite for what it's worth.
Albertville has a better vibe and location next to a river, but no warm showers there so we staid here (for too long).

May 2023 Arrived quite late in the day , the low score is for the grumpy lady on reception, fairly nice site but too expensive in my opinion, we paid $100 for 1 night for 4 adults in a camper van.
Nice showers, didn’t use any cooking facilities on site.

Friendly staff and great toilets and showers (lovely power showers!).
Absalutly fabulous family bathroom, even had a little baby bath which was perfect for us! Big kitchen area (unequipped for utensils but plenty of space and sinks/hobs/ovens). Great play ground for the little one, free WiFi and easy walking distance to town and to the georgous lake. Had a great time here and given its cheeper than the alternatives around, would definatly reccomend!
