We thought we'd stop here for the night as the last review was such a long time ago.

It was easy to find, not far from SH1 on the southern end of town. The welcome was warm, efficient and the motorcamp has some lovely mature trees for welcome shade.

The facilities are a bit dated, but spotless and there are plenty of free showers. The kitchen is spacious with good equipment available and the lounge room very comfortable. All sites were flat and grassy. There is also a decent playground area for children.

Cost for two adults in a non powered site was $36. Wifi available with good signal strength.

There do seem to be a few permanent residents but they were friendly. There is also a bit of road noise, but nothing that was annoying and is to be expected with the site being off a main junction. It's a nice little spot, so don't be put off by the previous negative reviews.

Very nice with full amenities--great stop for taking care of all needs from laundry to a community kitchen if you feel the need to spread out and take a break from cooking in the camper.

Clean and quiet, lots of shade trees.

Very, very old kitchen, bathrooms are just very old, bbqs are old and dirty, and over all the park needs money spent on it.

    Great little camp in Timaru.

Just stayed on a powered site for couple of days. Owners were very friendly and gave us plenty of information on things to do around the area. Very tidy, great showers. Awesome experience. Looking forward to come back soon.
