Great park with the best restrooms we have seen in 3 weeks, but a little pricey.
I think it was about 70$ for two people for a powered site. Laundromat was expensive $5 for each was and dryer wasn’t great. 10 min walk into town

A really great holiday park - the showers/toilets are all unisex and indiviudual, super clean and modern - the showers especially felt more like a hotel, by far the best on our 4 weeks travelling around
all of NZ.
WiFi worked great, and the plots were also brilliant.
Easily walkable into the center to the spa and all the restaurants/cafes the town had to offer.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice enough site, we didn't stop long as arrived late and left early the next morning, but facilities were clean (smaller than other Top 10s we have stayed at).
Sites nice and level on hard standing for camper vans.
Washer dryer facilities were good but also more expensive than others at $5 each.

Lovey new toilet blocks- felt like hotel facilities. Stayed in grassed powered site - not muddy even in winter. Kids loved the playground and jumping pillow.

If it was reasonably priced then we would have given a 7 as rating.
However it feels way overpriced. We had to pay 30 percent more than on any other campsite we've visited in the last 6 weeks in New Zealand.
There's one new facility with showers and toilets. But all other facilities are quite old. The toilets weren't really clean.
If you want to use kitchen equipment, you'll have to pay a bond at the reception.
One of the campsites unique selling points is their wood fired (but to be extra paid for) hot tubs. The downside is that if the direct of the wind is to your site, you'll end up smelling like something is burning.
The campervan sites out quite close to eachother. We could hear the conversation of our neighbours while being in our van.

Has had a big spend up!
Brand new family shower block with room for two adults and two toddlers to wash at once in twin head showers. We got a great spot nestled in under some trees and loved the place. Washing and drying facilities were awesome, lots of stuff for the kids to do, great Top10.

Very small pitches.
Very popular with families with young children as has plenty of play equipment. Showers clean and free and shower blocks heated. However constantly disturbed by people walking straight through our pitch. Expensive for what you get. However close to village. Ideal if you have kids but not for us!

Disgusting!
We’ve traveled around NZ for 3 weeks and this was the worst and most expensive site. Facilities were way to few for the numer of sites and everything was dirty all the time. Showers were unisex which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Not sure how this site got to superior rating but it surely wasn’t for cleanliness.

Enjoyed our stay.
Pricey, but it's to be expected. Some power boxes are very far from site, although they have extension cords available I believe. Awesome playground for kiddies. Multiple laundry rooms and bathrooms. The main bathrooms have heaters above the showers and toilets which was beautiful! Outdoor hot tubs are available to hire if the Hanmer Springs aren't your thing. Nice kitchen and dining area. Dump station area is big and out of the way. Would definately come back.

Good location for the Springs etc but the site is a little run down when compared to other Top 10 and the price.
All the usual stuff for a Top 10, coins for the laundry and cost for the extra WiFi but if you can get through the money stuff it’s a good location and easy access.

Priced on par with other sites we stayed at.
Not many toilets and showers for the amount of sites and are a little dated, however more importantly they are clean. Great location, short walk to restaurants, bars and hot pools. Free 250MB WiFi per day. Like most places sand flies can be an issue, got bitten once but no issue after applying bug spray.

We started our trip from Christchurch and drove up North in a self contained camper van.
During our road trip from Christchurch, this is the second Top 10 holiday park that we stayed. Two adults and two kids at a powered site, it costed us only $52 with our Top 10 membership discount. Staff was very friendly. The facility is nice and clean, shower is great, nice and big playgrounds. Location is the best, walking distance to pool, restaurants and shops. We stayed for two nights and wish we could stay longer. Loving that place. definitely will come back when we visit again.

A lot of people whine about nothing.
Go find a motel room for the price. Ok that's of my chest. Loved this place. We walked up to town and had dinner-beautiful. The park was in the middle of revamping the bathrooms but that's a bonus for the future.

$48 for 2 adults with power.
Place is still under construction at reception, facilities that old and basic that we preferred to use our own facilities in the camper. Also nice that the whole camping area was available and the first parking spot they offered was directly next to the construction area, children's playground and at the street side. We could change after we asked for a silent spot with the comment: "there are no other campers in the back parking area, are you sure?" YES, we were sure! Not even warm water to wash hands after toilet. Sorry, but not at all standard of Top 10 holiday parks! We would not recommend this expensive, old place at all!
