Great place to base yourself to enjoy beautiful Kaikoura.
We stayed 4 nights in winter and loved the hot tubs at the end of a chilly day exploring. Super hot showers (no charge no limit) and all the amenities were clean and well maintained. Amazing mountain views and lovely grounds. Friendly helpful team.

Really great site.
We came here specifically because another reviewer stated the Wii-Fi was fast. While it isn’t off the beach, we woke up to the sunrise over the mountains and it was a great view. The parking slots were small, but neat and organized. The facilities were nice and clean. Wi-Fi was exceptional. We used the hot-tub at night, but the pool was closed.

Small park so you get cozy with neighbours.
They have hot tubs at no extra charge! Big kitchen but no scrubbers or towels (not sure if this added to people not cleaning up after themselves as the kitchen got quiet dirty by morning). Clean toilets and hot showers

We arrived fairly late in the day.
The staff were very accomodating and managed to get us into a powered site.
$52 for a powered site for one night, with access to a heated pool and hot tub. Plus there is unlimited WiFi that covers the entire site.
Yes there are prettier sites throughout the south island, but this one is really convenient for kaikoura and has good facilities!

Great place and facilities.
Friendly staff.
Only shame is they don’t do a single occupancy price for campervans so bad to pay for 2 people when it was only me which was $56.

We had a nice stay, although they describe the spots to be very spacious, it really wasn't.
We had to squeeze in our campervan. The hot tub was really nice though and we could wash our clothes there. Facilities were clean, unfortunately the shower had no good water pressure.

We were campervaning all around southern New Zealand.
Kiakoura was our last stop before we head to Christchurch and fly out. The staff was nice, but as we checked out our site I was a bit bummed this little holiday park didn’t offer something a little more special. The hot tub was nice. But overall, this was one of our least favorite holiday parks we visited this month. This venue puts you VERY close to your campervan neighbors. It’s beyond tight. The ground was soggy and town wasn’t that close. We just wanted to close all of our curtains and hunker down, which is unlike us. The Top 10 option doesn’t look that much better IMO. If you’re staying in Kiakoura, I recommend heading out to enjoy the beach as long as you can. Come get your campervan parked later in the day and hot tub if you have time.

A wonderful and very peaceful site with gorgeous views out the back and great facilities.
Spacious clean kitchen, clean toilets and unlimited hot showers. $46 dollars for a non-powered site. Nice pool and 2 lovely hot tubs free to use as well. $4 dollars (2 $2 coins) for the washing machine and same for the dryer machine.

Beautiful quite spot.
Very clean and tidy. Great facilities. We stayed and extra night it was so relaxing. Only reason not a 10/10 is I was hoping to find somewhere with sea views in Kaikoura. But has mountain views, and everything else is perfect. We were in a caravan powered spot.

Fantastic park, couldn’t have had a better experience.
The toilet and shower blocks were cleaned daily along with the kitchen/shared room. The pool is currently not open but the hot pools are and you have a lovely view of the snowy mountains from them. The staff were amazing and friendly, and the Wi-Fi was very fast, unlimited and covered the majority of the park. Will 100% come back next time we are in Kaikoura :) also recommend the bakery next door to get a quick breakfast!

Really lovely site.
Extremely friendly staff who put us in a position prime for a good view over a stream and the mountains behind Kaikoura. Just around the corner from Kaikoura Bakery which is well worth a visit. Hot tubs free to use to guests - nice and dark so you could see plenty of stars. Great facilities - large kitchen and lounge, lots of showers which were very clean. Hair dryer and straighteners in the ladies loos if you are so inclined!

Loved our stay in a little cabin here.
We were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff member who made us feel welcome right from the word go. Our cabin was ideal for what we wanted, the bed was super comfy, quiet and dark! The facilities were clean and well maintained. The hot tub was ideal after a day of mountain biking and even more delightful in the misty rain. We will be back for sure.

Don't stay here if you have kids.
Last night we stayed at the Top 10 holiday park just up the road and it was awesome for my 23 month old active toddler. The Top 10 was great - they had an awesome playground, a heated pool, a family bathroom with detachable shower head, soap dispensers in showers, tandem push bikes for hire.... My son loved it. We came to Alpine holiday park for a change of scenery and we were very let down. First, when I was checking in, my son who isn't even 2 yet was going to cost the same as a child... When I complained the lady did take off his charge. But this park has nothing for kids..no playground, no family shower, the pool isn't heated... It's not kid friendly at all. And yet with no kid amenities, they charge full price for over 1s? How is that fair? If you have a family don't stay here... Go to Top 10 just down the street. Pros of this place - clean, nice staff, nice hot tub, nice tv room. That's about it.

Bit of a glorified car park for powered camper van sites at $56 for two a night.
The small swimming pool and hot tubs are out in the open. Convenient for Kaikoura but it didn’t offer us much more than a place to park for a night.
