    Just had an overnighter here.

Amenities are excellent, kitchen very clean and tidy, heat pump in the shower block was great on a frosty morning. Staff helpful and friendly.

So many people on a place, it was too much.

Traffic noise from the main road is an issue.

Tidy and clean but bit soulless.

Great campground with modern and clean facilities.

Great playground for kids and lovely hot showers, even a family bathroom.

Pros: close to town, 5-10min walk to Main Street. Great facilities, even a hot tub!

Cons: expensive, was $81 for a family of 4 for a powered site which was our most pricey night. No views of the ocean and right next to railway line.

Clean and well organised camp but a bit tight and crowded and no access to the sea.

Good place for families with kids.

Awesome place, nice staff, hot tub, nice playground, bikes available for small money, pool, gaming room (ping pong, air hockey, pool +) very close to town centre, Kaikoura has a very decent value for money

/ not very expensive. Not very loud because of traffic, but nice sound of the ocean

Ok site but advertising ”large campsites” is a joke since they divided most in A and B making them tiny...

    Kaikoura top 10 was amazing.

We had issues with our motorhome and checked in last minute. A bit pricey at roughly $48 NZD for 2 people on a powered site. The bathrooms have a heater (SO good in the colder months) and hairdryers, very well equipped camp site with wifi.

    Lovely top 10 site.

Just off the main road so can be a (little) noisy. Large pitches with nice hedges/trees between so feels neat and private. Facilities were great, heated toilet block with good hot showers. WiFi was good although limited. Very helpful staff. Great hot tub!!

Great kids play area and trikes to hire for $5/30min.

Book your half hour in the hot tub when u arrive to get a good time. Good kitchens and clean bathrooms, some road noise and train noise but not late.

    Staff really friendly.

Site was good. Ofc you are close to the people next to you but I don’t really know what other people expect from a holiday park?? If you want complete solitude go and freedom camp.

Toilets and showers and kitchen all clean and nice. Showers were warm!

Nice hot tub which you can reserve for half an hour- great way to warm up after dolphin encounter/whale watch.

Personally didn’t use but seemed to be lots of kids entertainment facilities.

Top10 is always a bit expensive but would say in Kaikoura you get what you pay for.

What you’d expect from a top 10 but so noisey.

Road noise and train went past middle of the night, also by a helicopter pad. I thought it was expensive for camping esp for non powered site it’s double the price but small sites and no power. Facilities are clean but cramped. Wasn’t a fan of how out of the way the kids play area was. It’s a great play area but way out of sight. Not tenting options close to it.

Well located spot, close to city centre and whale watching.

Nice and helpful staff. Lounge with TV and playing room OK. Very well warmed bathrooms (which was appreciated since we went in winter), with 5 min hot showers and good quality hairdryers.

One con, the ground floor was a little bit wet with small puddles because of the rain.

    Beautiful sights from the mountains.
