Nice campervan site and very friendly and helpful staff.
Good places to go for walks and of course if nature allows (it didn’t on this occasion😢😢) you can visit the glacier!

Good location if you’re interested in the nearby activities - some good hikes in the area including a lovely walk through a forest with glow worms.
Super friendly staff at check in, facilities are good but expensive - $12 for a load of laundry when everywhere else we’ve stayed has been $8. $30 for 2 people to use the hot tub for half an hour. Place lacked any charm, gravel sites really close to each other. We moved on after one day to the coast as it was just too rainy to do much. Overall fine but likely wouldn’t stay again.

- Understaffing.
Our first Holiday Park in NZ - but we're writing this review after having been to a number or TOP10 and others:
Pro:
- very friendly staff and atmosphere
- clean amenities
- Laundry price fair, DVD rent free, media room nice
Con:
- A toilet and shower block was closed due to understaffing
Well, certainly not their fault, but with consequences to service (timings)
- no spare equipment in the kitchen
You should expect the entire holiday park to empty during the day because everything in Fox Glacier can only be reached by car or helicopter.
we booked a powered site and were happy with everything.
The entire atmosphere was very friendly (unlike other holiday parks, especially those in cities).

Worst top 10 so far.
Small place to put your camper. Kitchen and bathroom were not cleaned properly, needed maintenance, as everything on this campsite. Way too expensive for what you get. Top 10 at Franz Joseph is better

Big campground with good, clean facilities.
The sites were on the smaller side and not separated (more plantings would be nice), so it might feel cramped when busy.

Great campervan site.
Each site has own picnic table. Great facilities. Very clean. Kitchen is huge but has nothing in it. You have to supply everything down to pots utensils wash clothes. Very quiet at this time of year. Recommend Lake Matheson walk 10 minutes along road.

A great place to stay near the glaciers.
We stayed two nights. Good kitchen and lounge facilities as well as a laundry room. About $20 per person for an unpowered site. A separate tv room with WiFi meant I was able to get some work done too!

Really lovely campsite, nice kitchen facilities, clean showers and toilets.
Was spring time when we stayed and it was a cold evening, they had a stove lighting in the kitchen which was so nice to sit at. Good facilities for doing laundry as well. The best campsite we have stayed in on our 2 week trip around the south island.
