Nice campervan site and very friendly and helpful staff.
Good places to go for walks and of course if nature allows (it didn’t on this occasion😢😢) you can visit the glacier!

Good location if you’re interested in the nearby activities - some good hikes in the area including a lovely walk through a forest with glow worms.
Super friendly staff at check in, facilities are good but expensive - $12 for a load of laundry when everywhere else we’ve stayed has been $8. $30 for 2 people to use the hot tub for half an hour. Place lacked any charm, gravel sites really close to each other. We moved on after one day to the coast as it was just too rainy to do much. Overall fine but likely wouldn’t stay again.

- Understaffing.
Our first Holiday Park in NZ - but we're writing this review after having been to a number or TOP10 and others:
Pro:
- very friendly staff and atmosphere
- clean amenities
- Laundry price fair, DVD rent free, media room nice
Con:
- A toilet and shower block was closed due to understaffing
Well, certainly not their fault, but with consequences to service (timings)
- no spare equipment in the kitchen
You should expect the entire holiday park to empty during the day because everything in Fox Glacier can only be reached by car or helicopter.
we booked a powered site and were happy with everything.
The entire atmosphere was very friendly (unlike other holiday parks, especially those in cities).

This is a fantastic caravan park - clean, fresh, tidy and well-positioned.
The bathrooms were immaculate, the communal kitchen and dining area were great, and laundry facilities cheap and new. The park facilities were well maintained. The township of Fox Glacier is lovely and I would recommend this caravan park if you're looking for a nice place to park up in town.

Literally the worst holiday park ive stayed in, in my 6 weeks in new zealand.
We stayed in a cabin that was $80 a night .it came with no bedding and well i think ive seen nicer prison cells. The walls very extremely thin. There was no were near enough cooking facilites for all the guests. Every kitchen was overcrowded. The campervan spots are so closed together with little privacy. It is sposed to be a superior park but i dont know how. The only reason i havent given it 1 is because it was clean and in a good location.

Hot showers, laundry, kitchen - it gets the job done, however the park is lacking in atmosphere and scenery.
The sites are pitched together so close, they feel more like a premium parking spot. Bathrooms were reasonably clean. Kitchen was clean as well but very packed and didn't even provide bins or tea towels. We found $50 a steep price for two people in an unpowered site quite close to the road.

Planned on staying here originally on a powered site, so glad we didn't.
We were lucky enough to find a great motel with power
We accidentally arrived here after doing the glacier/Matheson. After experiencing troubles with an air lock in our camper we followed signs to the 'public'!!!! Dump!!! Site!!!
Apparently they don't understand that dump sites advertised on road signs are publicly accessible.....
Anyway the owners haven't any compassion or manners for polite friendly people (me and my partner.) we were hastily ordered to leave. Had our waste pipe ripped out and were hounded by the lady (bitch) in charge.
Avoid this place!!!! Other places deserve your custom, unless you prefer the company of ass holes that is 👍
