Green location, bordered by forest foliage.
Showers clean and have great pressure. Price is very fair and Glow Worm tour a super bonus! Highly recommend for laid back camp. No play ground for kids.

Ok & adequate with lovely friendly staff & nice views.
But showers & toilets are pretty gross with brown stains on the toilet seats, black mould on shower curtains. It needs to be properly cleaned.good dump. Nice enough spot to stay a night & a good location close walk to cafes. $50 powered 2 adults Jan 25

I arrived today on a rainy Saturday and the start of school holidays and no booking!
Fox Glacier Lodge Camping Ground:
Not a problem as everywhere had “vacancies” on signs out the front!
This camp is in an “L” shape at the back of the lodge building and is definitely better than i expected. So don’t judge on what you can see from reception office (which I initially did). The ablutions are at the start of the “L”, BBQ area at corner and kitchen/lounge at far end.
Cost was $25 for one person, unpowered which was fine.
Definitely could do with a spruce up - especially the BBQ area. But all in all a good camp!
Camp kitchen and lounge area very adequate as with ablutions!
The Top 10 park in the area quoted me $40 for the same, but this is definitely more my kind of camp!

I loved this cute, little campsite near the foxglacier.
Very friendly staff and a cute lightworm tour for free in the evening. We stayed one night, but definitely book again here! You can choose your spot by yourself and the kitchen and bathrooms were super clean and nice!

If you need a place for the night it's OK.
Safe and has all the facilities. But a bit tired and pricey. I would probably look at top 10 if was passing through again or keep driving. Showers were hot but few facilities that are in high demand. Basically a lodge that has decided to offer campers it was full which is great for them but just a camper space in a carpark. Kitchen was tiny and gas hobs only worked on half. $60 for 2 for one night. Most expensive place we stayed while on the coast.

Overall, I would not recommend this campground.
Although staff was really friendly and helpful, the facilities are not in a good condition. Not only that they are really old and there seems to be no motivation to upgrade them in some way by e.g. adding decoration, blankets on the sofas etc.
Even worse is that you can find a lot of mold all over the shower rooms which makes the air hard to breathe and is probably bad for one‘s health.
All of that does not match the rather high price for a campervan site. To me it seemed like the owners do not want to spend even one dollar in upgrading this campsite, but simply getting every dollar out of it until it will fall apart.

The guy at the front desk was so great and even took us on a free glow worm walk. They were so nice and staff was great. The showers were a little bit old and the wifi didn’t work super great but other than that I would stay here again.

Ok for one or two nights, older facilities, water pressure in showers pretty average but obviously popular enough.
