Only a few pitches occupied at the beginning of December.
The facilities are functional and were mostly clean. Although only a few pitches were occupied, the staff were quite inflexible when it came to choosing a pitch. We have experienced this differently so far. Service orientation is lacking.

This is a really nice campsite, good clean facilities and great showers.
We stayed on a non powered site for a night and had views of the beach and plenty of space. The reception were really friendly and helpful. It was quiet and friendly. Nice bar down the road for meals.

Great place for those camping and campervans as well.
Clean, big grassy areas to pitch a tent. Kitchen, laundry and even a TV room for rainy days. A great spot right across from a beautiful beach. And no sand flies! Perfect after coming up the coast and being eaten alive at every spot.
Great for kids too 👌

As you’d expect from a top ten it is spotless with great facilities.
Also fab location near dog friendly beach. They are dog tolerant. Not dog friendly. Probably because they are cat people. But dog owners are prepared to pay the higher prices to be near the dog beach. No dog water bowls. No interest in making it a good stay for your dog too. If we didn’t have a dog I wouldn’t be able to fault it.

Great shower pressure.
Free showers, but very small cubicles unless you use the shower/ toilet unisex combo.
Best dump station for hygiene so far with soap and handbasin provided.
The actual dump also had its own flush and a lid.
Kitchen had detergent provided too.
Would happily return here.
$40 for 2 people unpowered.

Sadly, only booked one night when passing thru to Nelson.
Clean, well maintained, new carpeting. Great kitchen facilities, toilets were clean and tidy. Close to the beach. Nothing to grumble about here!!

We stayed 5 nights and had a not so pleasant experience.
The owner tried to give us some moral lessons twice instead of first asking herself what situation we were in. Her approach was quite aggressive and judgmental - inappropriate and insensitive to the given circumstances. She must have had bad experiences in the past and therefore takes things personally. That's a shame for the business. However, she can be friendly and helpful if you butter her up. The rest of the staff was nice. Facilities clean. Showers on one end, hot water did not work. Other end worked fine. No kitchen utilities provided - only for rent, which we found disappointing for a TOP 10 Holiday Park.

Just across the road from the sandy beach (still a 4 minute walk). The showers and toilets in our block were fantastic. Great BBQ and kitchen area. Grass or concrete pads available. Great spot.

Nice spot just across from the beach.
Good facilities especially if you're travelling with small children.

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at our first Top 10 park.
Yes it was $48 for 2 on a powered site but it was right by the beach, had a large and very well equipped kitchen, lovely big and sparkling clean ensuite bathrooms, large laundry facility costing $4 for a wash and the staff are lovely and helpful. It also had a dump station and water so for all those reasons it was perfect for us and worth every cent. Thanks guys! Newbie UK Jucy campers :)
