Campsite is great but was the most expensive I stayed at.
My cabin was definitely not worth $80.00 a night.

Lovely place.
Lot of bathroom and kitchen space and facilities. Very clean and spotless. Nice deck and patio area with BBQ. Kids playground, birds in aviaries and pet cats for those like me missing their furbabies. Friendly owners. And the hot water system is on coal so there is a lovely coal smell occasionally permeating the air- seems appropriate in Westport.
This is a Kiwi holiday park.

36NZD for a night for 2 people for a tent and unpowered site.
Site is ok but I think it is still expensive in comparaison of the service. Only 2 pan and 1 pot available. But that's ok. Showers are good. And NO FREE WIFI :(:(

A dream holiday park!
By far the cleanest toilet and shower facilities we have seen. Hot water, laundry with sinks for handwashing, clotheslines, kitchen, tv lounge, picnic area, and a playground for kids. We really enjoyed our night here. Watch out for the Wild Weka!

Fantastic holiday park.
Worth every penny. Lovely kitchen with nicely decorated and sheltered eating area. Big clean bathrooms with free hot showers! Super spots to park your van with your own picnic table if you pick one. And a lovely cat to keep you company in the TV room :-)

Helpful and friendly staff.
The camp is well set up with good graveled pitches for motorhomes and plenty of sheltered grass areas for tenting. The communal areas are very functional and obviously the owners are working away at improvements and maintenance. Solid energy have built a magnificent sports complex including an indoor swimming pool about 5 minutes walk from the camp.

Excellent place to stay.
The camp emerges from a stand of beautiful native forest with cabins gently tucked between tall Rimu and Kahikatea. Great facilities that are very clean. We are from NZ and have stayed in many campgrounds. This is one of my favourites as it is in a beautiful setting and very 'kiwi'.

Good location for a cyclist who needs access to town.
I see some reviewers say that town is dead but if your looking for party central then the West Coast probably isn't for you. Good facilities with nice undercover BBQ and eating area. Tent sites flat and grassy.

Nicest place we stayed on our two week tour or the South Island.
The facilties were excellent. The bathrrooms were clean and well kept. The kitchen was excellent and since it was raining we opted to cook our meal inside with a few other campers. Outside the kitchen there is a nice patio are a that is covered. The only downside is the location. It is in the town of Westport which was pretty dead when we were there. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place, if you want some adventure you might go elsewhere. It was perfect for us!

The toilets were a bit dirty, for $15 per person - you could expect more for only parking a night and have a shower.
But you could use the kitchen.
