A lovely quiet campsite with a nice creek next to it.

$47 for a non powered site, clean toilets and showers and clean kitchens. $1 for a 6 minute hot shower but you can put another coin in after to get another 6 minutes

Our site was lovely, right by the river and trees.

Facilities were old but clean and tidy, the pool was great. The staff were very helpful and we also hired bikes from here, great bikes and excellent value. Only marked down because it was a bit noisy (with other big groups of travellers) and you had to pay for the hot shower

    Average.

5 minute shower is $1. Laundry is $2. Drying the clothes $4. They do have clothes lines to be fair. The site cost me $60 for a camper and the 4 of us. What that $60 covered since we have to pay for everything I don’t know. But.... nice spot beside a beautiful stream. Only a short walk along a nice track to a 4 Square and takeaways and also a nice kitchen area. But still....Average.

The nicest thing is the Creek.

It is beautiful and attracts a rich bird life. There is no ace for any camper to sit by the water. All of the bank is allocated to camp spots. I was in a motel unit which proved to be noisey. The common kitchen is large and the shower block is new. The grocers is not far down the road. It's a pleasant walk.

Compared to our other holiday park stays, this wasn't anything special, but it did the job.

The kitchen has a very industrial feel - metal picnic benches and tables. The faucets in the kitchen and bathroom were separated by hot and cold, which made them somewhat annoying to use (get burned by the hot one and then cool down with the cold one). Also, you had to pay for hot water in the shower, which seemed like they were nickel and diming you, to be honest. That said, this was cheaper than other holiday parks we stayed at, so my expectations were a bit lower. We also had a nice site by the creek and generally enjoyed our stay.

    Great site, busy but quiet.

The spots by the creek are lovely. We got a pitch (one of the last available when we turned up about 5pm) that was away from the creek, but each pitch is hedged on two or three sides, so plenty of privacy. Laundry $2, dryer $4 (but we just used the plentiful washing lines). Everything you need in a campsite, with a good welcome from reception.

You have to pay extra for the shower facilities and the toilet facilities were basic.

The receptionist who I believe was the owner was very rude and threatening when we got confused by the un-clear check out time. Just because she was so rude to young unexperienced travelers I wouldn't want to support someone who has the ability to act so unprofessionally.

Radio also is great! $30 for 2 people so very reasonable. Booked a cycle tour and they picked us up from the site and dropped us off again (explore Marlborough) highly recommend both!!

Nice little site on the river/creek.

Excellent location for Marlborough wine tours but not much else! Not much in Spring Creek as a town, except for shop and hotel/ bar. We were allocated the site next to ‘Eddy The Eel’ where we were continually disturbed by other thoughtless campers. The pitch was a good size. Facilities ok but nothing special and as mentioned by others showers $1 for 5 mins, water nice and hot though. One thing that did put us off this site is the ‘permanent’ very old caravans that actually give you the wrong impression as you enter the site.

Lovely little spot next to the Creek where you can feed eels and see fish and ducks.

Got a good kitchen set up and clean bathrooms. Paid for hot water in nice big showers. Lots of permanent campervans there so it has a lot of established 'perks'. Loads of washing line space, pool, trampoline and little shop.

Very large kitchen with a little bit dusty kettles and toasters, but everything working fine. Bathrooms were OK, clean and with background music. As commented by other users, hot shower was 1$ for 5 min use. Nice staff.

We arrived and the helpful lady at reception was able to get us on a last minute wine tour - despite us missing the last departure time. :)

    We had a lovely stay!

We booked a cabin at 10am and the host was able to let us right in. She was very friendly and showed us a few rooms to help us choose. The cabin room was spacious with a small counter, fridge, toaster, tea pot and plates. The bathrooms were very clean and the woman's has 2 showers and 4 stalls. The laundry worked great, the kitchen has plenty of work spaces to accommodate multiple groups and the TV room has a huge flat screen. They offer paid wifi for a very good price. After reading some of the reviews I was very impressed with our night stay. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable stay at a great value!

Nice campground with such lovely and helpful hosts.

They brought us a barbecue, helped out with the washing machines etc. You do have to pay for showers and WiFi but the sites are also very reasonably priced (45 dollars for a campervan 2 adults/2 children) And yes some people stay longterm but I don’t get why that is a problem Everyone was very nice. Can recommend doing a tour of the wine district by bike from here (they’ll pick you up) at the campground.

Not sure about other people's experiences but we thought this was a great campsite.

Showers and toilets were clean. Powered site for our campervan was great. Kitchen was bigger than most in holiday parks. Obviously it didn't have utensils or pots and pans but none of them do because they expect you to have your own if you're camping. Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful.

    Avoid here if possible.

This campsite has all expected facilities that were of an okay standard. You pay $1 for a 5 minute shower which wasn't great. One of the toilet/shower blocks was fine but one was awful, looked really dirty and run down. There is a small portion of the site that looks nice, we were told we weren't allowed to stay there because other people were expecting to come back to the spots. They put us in the most run down, dirty, cramped part of the camp, people obviously live there permanently and don't take any pride in the place. The kitchen constantly had flies in it and was generally uninviting. The lady who runs the place was miserable. There just really isn't a nice atmosphere here like some of the places we have stayed.
