    Awesome place to stay.

Lovely beach close by, great for swimming , kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing . Views on the hill top are amazing, mountain biking close by at the Cable Bay Adventure park. Camping ground, kitchen and showers are kept very clean and tidy. Thanks Bert and Matt we will be back.

We had a great time here!

The facilities are very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. Even a French Press we were very happy about :)

There is also a big common area with a nice comfortable sofa.

The owners, Bert and Matt, are probably two of the nicest human beings on this planet. Matt welcomed us and our dog in the evening and gave us some beautiful tracking recommendations for the next day - the rocky beach is just a two minutes walk away and a track starts there.

We originally planned on only staying a night but enjoyed it so much here that we extended our stay (which was no problem at all).

    Would happily stay here again.

Road was partielle open, depends of the hours.

No staff when we arrived, when you call no one picked the phone. There is a board witch indicate free spots and booking to come if you want to park but it's not clear at all. Better to book before.

Beautiful campsite with great common area and kitchen.

2 min walk to the beach and a tramp up the hill behind the campsite. Owner was very nice and the honey we bought from the stand out from was delicious. No cell service but free 400mb wifi. Clean showers and toilets.

Great quiet spot off the beaten path.

Owner was very nice and accommodating. Bathrooms & showers were nice and clean. The rock beach was just a minute or two walk and a perfect spot for a swim or sunset wine walk. Also close to the trail up the mountain, but was closed when we were there due to fire risk. Overall awesome spot!

Charming find on a remote road.

Very close to the pebble beach on the Pepin Island causeway.

Divided into a few sections so you don’t feel crowded in. Each site is on a slightly different level so you feel private. Ablutions are really good and clean. Did not use laundry but saw machines.

WiFi is free and each voucher gives 300MB but not always reliable connection. Small kitchen area with not much area should many campers be in at same time. Has barbecue that can be used.

Very peaceful. Zero noise after dark.

Historically significant, with interesting beach behind which is a low tide area - good for bird life. Very quite location.

Amazing place to stay if you are after some peace and quiet, completely understand why the reviews are so good.

The owners were lovely, fairly priced, decent kitchen and showers. It was pretty quiet when we visited, but worth going slightly out of your way to stay there. There is a beautiful walk you can do (quite steep) from right next to the campsite, and you can see a great sunset across the bay. We’d highly recommend both the campsite and the walk!

An exceptionally beautiful campsite with very friendly and helpful people.

Walk 200m and you are at a beautiful beach. From the beach on, there is a really nice but tough way up the hill (1km) where you have a splendid view over the coast and the hills. The sanitary installations (toilet, shower and kitchen) are good. Price is $19 per person (powered site for motorhome) incl. free wifi.
