Nice place for one night.
We stayed overnight before catching the ferry.

Would not recommend if looking for decent nights sleep!!
Well clean and tidy and central to the ferry, however very noisy and no much sleep due to late night arriving traffic from ferry some truck stopping to sleep on roadside before starting and warming engines at 4am to head off south!

Very close to inter islander terminal so somewhat noisy from the traffic.
However the hosts were just lovely, the place was spotless, the showers hot and the laundry facilities reasonably priced , clean and efficient. Pretty perfect stopover before an early ferry

We had one of the cabins which is actually just a bed in a shed (well, there's a tv and a radiator too).
Communal facilities are only open 7am - 10pm and as we arrived after 10pm and left before 7am I cannot comment on these!
Showers/toilets are good/clean
As with the other Picton accommodation I feel they charge a bit more for proximity to the ferry.
Cost (2p, cabin): $90
Location: Essentially a car park
Facilities: Free showers, toilets, communal facilities open 7am-10pm
Value: 5/10
Sandflies: None
X-Factor: Nahh, just a handy place to stop before/after the ferry

Adorable town!
The camper park is literally a parking lot with electric plugs with cabins on the grounds but it’s okay for a night or two. The town is so precious and is only a 10 minute walk to the cute downtown area. The bathrooms and showers are super clean and the owners are very nice.

Small nice and clean campsite, with good installations regarding bathrooms and kitchen/lounge.
Unfortunately no non-powered sites available, therefore quite expensive compared to the other campsites we have been. The location is good if you want to take the ferry or just arrived as its close to the harbour but for a longer stay I think there are nicer sites as it is located just between 2 streets. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cannot disagree with all the other comments, good clean facilities, very friendly owner and overall a very nice site.
But the continuous noise from heavy traffic resulted in the worst nights sleep ever.
Too much traffic noise from the ferries, worst nights sleep ever.

Great location, walking distance to town, harbour walks/cycling tracks.
We stayed here over New Year, the staff put on a complimentary bbq which was very nice. Facilities are not the newest but very usable. Friendly staff. Only negative is the smallish spaces for parking your motorhome, but overall a great place to stay. We will be back.

Yes it's small and most people are either there for a night waiting for or arriving from ferry.
Yes there's some traffic noise - though nothing too major. However I've been camping 20+ years and have never seen such clean shower/toilets!! Amazing - and for a germphobe like me it was heaven.

Close to the ferry, close to the centre of Picton, friendly owner, very clean toilets and shower, even with music, free showers.
Close to road so some noise of cars, but we slept well. We stayed two nights and went with the water taxi to the beginning of the Queen Charlotte track, and walked 14 km of this track. So beautiful.

Motorpark just 2 minutes away from the ferry.
Best washroom we had on our trip in the South. Heated room, with music, hot free shower and all very clean. Little traffic noise until last ferry, but not really an issue. Small kitchen with tables and chairs and TV. Perfect for one night before leaving the South. Staff friendly.

Spotlessly clean toilets and showers.
No coins needed for showers. Flat pitches. Easy hook up. Short walk to town for coffee with a view before the ferry trip. Car parking costs $1 per hour in town so small saving to park and walk from the site. This campsite offered a powered site for single person $22. Wifi is extra.

Two persons in a powered campervan site.
Super clean facilities, nice showers and bathrooms. Kitchen/TV lounge area also comfortable to cook and eat. We walked 10 minutes to the main street to stretch our legs. Some light traffic sound (not really disturbing to sleep for us), and also seems a bit unprotected from the outside street since there are no gates, so accessible to anyone (this wasn't really an issue, we felt perfectly safe). Had to pay extra for Wifi. Great for a one night wile waiting for the ferry, would stay here again!!

This site is essentially a gravel and grassed parking lot in town surrounded by hedges/small trees with sometimes noisy streets on three sides.
That said its a great place for a night before leaving or after arriving on the ferry. The shower and toilet facilities were the best we'd seen, very clean and even heated when we were there. Kitchen area functional and clean. Friendly accommodating owner/manager.
