A friendly welcome and very helpful as we arrived without booking in advance and nothing was too much trouble.

The powered site was $50 on a slab with access to very clean hot showers and toilets. The kitchen was well equipped with dining tables and chairs and a lounge area with tv. It was in a very quiet residential side road and only 3 minutes in the car to high street.

Clean facilities, indoor swimmingpool (heated but still a bit cold though), playground (bit outdated) but most of all very wet, muddy and not leveled sites. Good wifi.

    Had a great time here.

Nice hot unlimited showers. Tidy and clean kitchen with fridge, microwave, hob, toaster. Lots of plates and cutlery - amused myself drinking my beer from a mason jar! There’s a swimming pool in the site, though I didn’t use it. The staff were nice and helpful, particularly the overnight caretaker.

    This place is fabulous!!

One of our top 3 NZ campsites and we have been to a lot!! So clean and well maintained with amazing facilities. Wonderful free hot showers and a super kitchen/dining area that even had a tea pot!! Woo hoo!! Many pitches are lined with tall hedges for privacy but there are also huge spacious ones for big families to camp together. Very friendly owners and child and pet friendly too! We were supposed to be passing through but stayed another day it was so lovely.

    Clean facilities.

There’s even an indoor swimming pool if you are interested. Place gets a 9/10 because while the powered sites are nicely separated by hedges the space for the tents and unpowered campervans are crammed into a turn on the road on a grassy flat. Otherwise clean and everything you would expect at a holiday park.

    Awesome place to stay!

Very clean facilities and the owners John & Evander are super helpful. Lovely atmosphere, nice setting with surrounding bush (trout fishing and nature walk) and close to town. Stayed for 2 nights, had booked a standard cabin but got upgraded the second night to a fully self-contained tourist flat because our baby daughter got sick. Felt so well looked after, can only recommend the place! It's currently undergoing renovations - we'll be back to check out the pool!
