We had a lovely, peaceful stay here!

Such a classic kiwi campground, facilities were simple and super clean. Has everything you need, and just a quick bushwalk into town. Ken was great! Super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here :)

    7th May 24.

2 adults in motorhome. $44 for 1 night.

Make sure you book in advance and get the security code for the barrier.

Follow the direction for the reception, the main area is lit. It is a little difficult to see the pitch numbers in the dark.

    Good facilities if dated.

Nice quiet campsite with ok facilities. Friendly staff. $38 for 2 in 7.7m motorhome. $4 each for washer and drier. Fresh water on site. Dump station along the main drive through next to a picnic area. Interesting shops along the road. Good pub, at least the one we went in. The French Bakery needs a visit if you go to Greytown. Greytown is a small quaint town, which is about 1.5 hours drive from Wellington.

We used this as a stop-off place on the way to Hawke's Bay. The site is basic but there are hot showers, a kitchen, and it is an easy walk into the town. Wifi is $5 extra for 24-hours for one device.

Stayed over New Year, it was busy, best to book.

Really friendly couple running it. Facilities spotless. Kitchen has limited hot plates & you need your own cooking pots, plates etc but useful. I paid $14 for a tent pitch, 1 adult.
