    Pretty good.

$55 per night for 2 adults and 2 children under 5 in a campervan powered site. Thermal pools are included and were lovely with varying temperatures to suit all. At intersection so pool and road side sites get noise until about 10pm but otherwise fine. Dryers have a very long cycle of 90mins compared to other industrial ones we have used. Hot showers are pretty good. Some spray in all directions due to high pressure and leaks. Friendly reception though there was a pricing discrepancy between what we were charged and our friends who had the same party size and setup. Pricing depends on site (grass vs gravel), age of kids etc so it's worth asking questions.

$25 per person for no power site -- so it's a good deal if you're solo, but overpriced for a group in one vehicle.

No power area is a single lawn and a bit hilly. Kitchen was fine. When we visited, hot pool was crowded.

Good place to waste your money… showers are not clean, lady at the front was really nasty and said she would not refund us when we asked for a flat spot instead of a grassy and uneven area for our campervan

    .

We needed to spend the night there so we stayed…

I would not recommand this holiday park.

Here you pay mainly for the proximity to all the tourists spots of Rotorua.

Everything is there, but it is visible that they try to avoid cash out. No lightning at night (all the lamps are broken?) and also the hot tubs are out of shape. Would not stay here again.

I paid $20 per night for an unpowered tent site, and set up under a tree which was fairly private although the tent site is a field.

There was unlimited access to hot pools, a decent kitchen and dining area, a living room with outlets, and showers. There are no utensils or cookware out, but available for rent. Lots of friendly Kiwis camping here as well, instead of just tourists. Close to mountain biking, which is why I picked the spot.

Booked two nights in a powered site for motorhome.

Basically a dust bowl of a parking space next to a covered walkway. Communal facilities were extremely busy. Kitchen consisted of 5 kitchen bays, each bay with stove/stove with oven, bench space, and sink. Generally well laid out with lots of additional features, microwaves, toasters etc. Dining room was roomy, but busy. Bathrooms were dated and stainless steel shower tray was slippery. Kids pool was popular with kids not warm, and hot pools disappointing could be cleaner.

Good value to camp and unlimited use of thermal pools until close then able to access again early am before opening.

Busy site, kitchen facilities ( hot plate took a long time to cook on), laundry facilities, drying room and hot showers and toilets. Great place to unwind after long day of driving. Food available to purchase from cafe a bit expensive and not that great.

Managed to park the van near a picnic table which was nice, otherwise you’re out in the open a tad. Kitchen decent, no cooking supplies though. Very close to the mountain biking which is nice. Simple and a bit dated but it is what it is.

It's untidy previous guests old socks on the floor of the pitch. There aren't any views to admire of an evening.

    - paid wifi

Interesting place because it's very close to the Wai O Tapu thermal wonderland.

The free thermal pool are a good place to have a break at the end of the day.

But sleeping here was hard. The campground is little, and we couldn't even open the doors of our campervan. Some other cars came and parked too close. And of course they spent hours opening and closing their doors. The campground is not cheap, a bit more space would be appreciated

    What a shame.

This could be a really nice site but it needs some attention. The powered sites need tidying and weeding. It is a great location however for the geysers and for mountains biking so I would recommend for location.

    Staff were friendly.

Paid wifi came in handy. Site was pretty open to neighbours. Thermal pools were pretty industrial and exposed but free and used by us. The older kitchen was freezing cold and no supplies whatsoever. I believe you could hire cooking stuff if needed. The bathrooms as well were just cement floors but the showers were hot and no lines.

Winter review - Happy enough with the facilities - free hot springs (can get busy, and awkward), hot showers (temp and pressure both mediocre), helpful friendly staff, pretty grounds.

Would've been nice to have an area to dry out towels and swimmers though.

Handy location for Te Puia, only a couple of minutes walk.

Hot showers and good kitchen facilities and a common room, you can rent cooking equipment as needed. Free hot springs. I camped in a tent and there were a few different places to pitch around the site. Best to book ahead in the summer. Not the prettiest of campsites but for one in town it's fine.

This place could be so great if it just had a good clean, sorted out the (very uneven) camp ground, could guarantee hot showers.

Was here 3 nights and so far only had 1 hot shower. The bathroom is full of alive and dead bugs and tonnes of cobwebs in the communal areas.

We had a powered camper spot for a day in February.

The nearby showers are free to use but probably fed by boiler, because they were pretty cold by the time we got around to showering. The camper spots are fine, but nothing special. We paid $45, which was a pretty hefty price, considering the above.

We were coming from Whakatane and the White Island and needed a shower and laundry so we booked it last minute the same day.

Staff is friendly, it has hot pools included (we did not use them, we had no time) and the facilities are decent and clean. Our powered site was next to the entrance and had the facilities just in front: toilets and showers, laundry, kitchen and clothe lines. There were only two showers and what seemed a family bathroom, but there were other showers facilities nearby. Laundry and drier 2$ each, has big kitchen. It was quiet and a nice place to stay.
