Dog friendly campground with clean facilities.
We enjoyed starting our mornings with the barista made coffees and finishing the evenings with the craft beer brewed on-site. New owners were lovely and helpful. Great stay 👍

Beautiful place that we fell upon.
Close to Hot Water beach, 10mins drive. Lovely restaurant and own brewery on site which we didn’t know. Family who run it are very welcoming. Even if you’re not staying worth a visit for the food but stay, have a few drinks and relax. Won’t be a secret for long.

Nice camping with a Coffee bar and a good restaurant.
We enjoyed the evening in the restaurant. There was even live music that night. One thing what could be better: the shower. You only have 5 minuten to shower and it is a little small and not that clean.

Nice spot, we only paid $30 for two people in a non - powered site, not sure if this goes up in higher season!
The owners were really friendly and gave us a couple of 50c to use for the showers and free shovel hire. Has everything you need and even has a brewery/restaurant on site with a spot to get coffees in the morning. We had a tasting paddle with 7 beers for $24, they were really good. Only marked down as showers/ bathroom could be a bit more convenient/ cleaner but otherwise all good.

$40 for two people per night for non powered spot.
Large kitchen and area for eating inside. Standard toilets. Not that pretty as a campsite, no scenic views. Furniture and everything was a bit outdated but seemed like a standard holiday park. Good location on the way to hot water beach and cathedral cove. Arrived after 6pm so just parked up and payed in the morning. Nothing special really.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
The managers are vile, unstable and abusive people who are unfit to be running a campsite! Would NEVER recommend.

Went to investigate “Cathedral Cove” today.
Thousands of people crammed into caravan park. Came here, 20 min away, plenty of space, half the price, and will head to the cove in the morning.

One of the cheaper spots around here, still not cheap.
Free spades for hot water beach. Showers take 50 Cent for 6 minutes hot water. Everything clean. Laid back and super friendly staff. Late check out possible if you ask nicely. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff member, helped us out with where to stay elsewhere in Nz.
Borrowed a spade for hot water beach and the showers were really nice (currently being refurbed).
We were arriving late so they just told us to find a space and sort everything in the morning so worked out great for us

Almost no competition in this area which is probably why we had to pay $40 for a non powered site for two (mid Dec).
Wifi only for 30 mins and shower is 50 cent. Stayed only because we had no alternatives.
