Great campsite.
Awesome location. Busy busy but had all the facilities you need which were well maintained. Friendly staff. Small campsites but if you’re planning on just sleeping there or hanging out in town/beach (both easy walk) it’s perfect. May need to book in advance.

At nearly 40 dollars per night for an unpowered spot, this is one of the most expensive camps sites we stayed at.
However, the camp is well situated with plenty of spaces and has modern facilities. Its proximity to town and the beach is great. Just a pity about the price.

Our no power camper van site was right next to the beach/bay access.
Clean bathrooms and showers with water fill up and dump stations. Nice to have a foot bridge that goes over the harbor to be able to walk into town for a drink or dinner. Close driving access to the surf beaches.

Disappointed from this campsite!
Only a big grass area without any separating bushes or trees, many resident caravans and their "buildings" don't look very nice. Toilets and showers are strangely mixed, to less bathroom sinks without any possibility to put or hangup clothes .. So in sum too many missing details for 50$ /powered+2 Adults! We only spent one night, it's too expensive!

Went to Raglan for ANZAC Day, it still had campsites vacant, what I really appreciate, because I'm not the type to book in advance.
I just show up. Lots of resident campers, clean facilities and the town close by. No privacy on the sites. They've got security running at night to make sure, it's quiet. Friendly staff.

We are not the type to usually stay at a holiday park but there are not a lot of other options in Raglan.
This was definitely a large, crowded park with zero privacy between sites. We luckily got a site right next to the trail that went down to a pretty big beach which is an amazing spot to watch the sunset. Less than a 10 min walk to town to escape and get beers.

Friendly office staff, quite a big park walking distance to town with a really dumb shower system where you have to swipe your card for a three Minute shower but then you can swipe it again?
I suppose that stops non customers walking in. Would definitely stay here again.

Visited in off season, had toilet blocks locked and only two disabled shower/toilets open .
Have to use a card to operate shower, one issued per site at a $10 deposit. Shower lukewarm at best, not warm enough to wash hair and showers grotty. $44 for a powered site and have to pay for wi-fi. Way to expensive for what it was.

A very expensive place to stay.
The park is large with many permanent vans (empty for the winter thankfully), so the park would be a very busy place in summer. Great location, walking distance to town via a foot bridge.

Very friendly stuff and we felt very welcome.
Clean facilities, a kitchen you have what you need and enough toillets and showers. The showers are limited for 5minutes, but this is more than enough. The camping is very close to town. For surfing you have to drive a few minutes, but you have the choice of different spots. I can recommend this campground to everybody.

It's huge but it's also used by loads of local Hamilton people so you don't get too many tourists.
I know that sounds mad being a tourist, but there was an authenticity about the place. Yeah they could do with more toilets and cleaned a bit more often too - but it's Raglan and a very chilled place. It's a surfing Mecca and we just kind of got into it. Kitchens busy but with enough stuff there. It wasn't the sort of place I'd normally stay, but it was ok.
