  • Good place to stay, a friendly manager!

He helped us with bus cards to go to the center and allowed us to leave out campervan during the day of departure so we did not have parking issues.

Places are smaller than on country side, but for a city camping it’s good and we got a big spot for our bigger van!

Facilities were a bit old, but clean and a nice hot shower! Good place to go if you stay in Auckland

  • Power site : 50$ - unpowered: 25$.

Laudry : 3$. A kitchen and little tv room.

Clean shower and toilet and a hairdryer.

The inside as an old decoration but i absolutely don't care because the park is well maintained. Residents are polite and friendly. Quiet place to stay with lots of birds songs.

The only thing: the female shower as curtains and no closing doors.

    I stayed there 4 nights

Facilities are still as bad as they were before. But the price rises to 25 for 1 or 45 for 2 on unpowered…

    Definitely not worth it.

  • Absolutely gutted!!

$170 a night for cobwebs, splatter bllod of dead squashed mosquitoes on walls, a unbelievable amount of spiders, stained linen, hair everywhere. The kitchen is the worst I've seen in years, the window seals are caked with years of who knows what, and lots more of utter filth. Do not waste a single dollar here. Do it for your own health.

  • Best holiday park we stayed during our trips in Auckland.

It's an inner-city park in a big city.

  • Obviously the best thing about this camping ground is its location.

Only a 20 minute bus drive to downtown Auckland. The camp site facilities are generally clean however they are old and surely have seen their best time. There are only 3 shower cubicles which is little. The lounge is adequate with large TV and some sofas to sit on. Again all could do with an upgrade. Camp sites are not more than a car park so don't unpack your camp table and chairs.

  • Based on staying in a self contained caravan on a powered site this campground has nice grounds and handy location to central Auckland.

Nice and tidy facilities. Concrete pads for parking. What it is missing is provision of water taps at sites which every other campground seems to have. Also there is only a single dump point (some camps have multiple dump points, and even some camps have a shared waste drain in one corner of every site). Emptying your toilet cassette or grey water roll tank could involve a long up hill haul (as the campground is terraced). Nightly rates are good considering the proximity of the campground to central Auckland.

If there were water taps at each site and more than one dump point I'd rate this place 10/10.

  • Noisy guests out in the bbq area partying until late - large group of them, possibly some sort of party.

Woken at 7.30 by noise again at the bbq area.

WiFi doesn’t work at the campsite, just near reception.

Showers don’t have doors, just curtains.

Bathroom is not clean, big spiders and webs over ceiling.

Laundry isn’t the best, paid $3 for tumble drier and barely dried the clothes - we didn’t risk paying another $3 for it not to work again. Also $3 for washing machine.

Good location as the only one in the city and close-ish to Eden park, but is very grubby and not worth the money. $50 a night for powered site for 2 adults.

The kitchen hobs are super slower, need to turn them on at least 20 mins before you want to start cooking.

We were booked for two nights as had an event in the city, if we didn’t have the event we wouldn’t have stayed.

  • I needed a place to stay near aukland so I thought I would give this place a try for the night.

I called and booked a site I told the receptionist that I would be in late and she gave me instructions on how to get checked in after hours. So long story short I show up and get turned away so now I'm searching for a place to stay in the middle of the night. I've been charged already so time will tell if I get that money back.

  • The camping pitches are tiny which makes the place feel overcrowded.

The kitchen and showers are very outdated and not particularly clean. But I guess the location is good if you want to be near the city.

  • Yeah NAH, very dated.

Clean toilets and showers. Not ideal if you have a big vehicle as there is only a few spaces for larger vans. Had to squeeze my car next to the caravan or park outside. Lots of permanent residents but peaceful and polite. Not for me thanks.

  • Stayed here as it seemed like the best option of the limited places to stay in Auckland...facilities are run down and old.

Definitely no way near the same standard as other campsites which we have stayed at for the same price. Positives: showers were warm and it was only about 15 mins drive from city centre

  • We arrived late, after 11pm and mr.

Terry was very helpful to arrange for a place. I believe all the facilities are in a need for refurbishment, kitchen is ok but all apliances are old. It is ok for one night around Auckland, but that's all.

  • The worst motel we have ever stayed in.

Many health and safety issues broken chair, a screw protruding into the seat of the chair. The shower drain cover moves which could cause a serious accident.

Broken latches on Windows...a real security issue.

Fridge was off unbeknown to us so our food was ruined.

No TV reception the first night.

    Very tired decor.

Over all the unit was not clean and hygienic and is very tired.Dirty tinfoil covers in the stove elements.

Arrogant Manager by the name of Suzie is is a is not prepared to listen.

  • Facilities were grotty with black mould everywhere.

We parked on our concrete pad but could not avoid walking through mud when stepping out of van. Showers are free but it is a trickle of water. No playground for children and signs warning that children must not play in trees etc. Not a family friendly atmosphere. General unfriendly feeling with more permanent residents rather holiday makers. Would not return.

  • Why are we still paying these crazy amounts for internet...we want free and unlimited data ...

the manager of this site obviously sees internet as a formidable cas hcow and starts shouting and screaming when asked for the reason ....,.

Not a very friendly approach for a very overpriced camping-site.
