This track starts from Birchwood Road car park and winds above the Avon Burn. The track passes beside Avon Burn gorge and climbs to grassy flats near Tin Hut (private).
Getting there
The Lindis area is in North Otago, South Island, accessed via State Highway 8.
The Avon Burn end of the track starts at the car park approximately 11 km along Birchwood Road in the Ahuriri Valley.
The other end of this track is accessed via a car park beside SH 8, signposted on the
Otago side of Lindis Pass.
