Welcome to your spot! Stay with us while you explore Auckland! We can accommodate 2 small-medium (under 6.5m) campervans, within easy walking distance to Auckland Zoo, MOTAT, Western Springs Lake, St Luke's Mall, and Eden Park.NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR OCTOBER 2025.
WE ARE CLOSED FROM 26 OCTOBER 2025 TO 13 DECEMBER 2025.
Welcome! It's a simple park-up spot in the front yard but the location is hard to beat! 🚙✈️🥾 We're close to top attractions and getting around is easy with nearby bus and train routes. Plus your campervan will be safely parked off the street while you explore the city.
You'll have access to a shared bathroom with shower and toilet –also used by the owners. Please kindly wipe down the glass and tiles with the squeegee after your shower –we really appreciate it! 😊
SHOES: please remove shoes when indoors.
While the kitchen isn't included, you're welcome to use the BBQ and relax in the yard with outdoor tables and chairs. We offer free WIFI, plus an optional powered site. Enjoy your stay!

SECURITY: There are 4 external security cameras installed: front yard, garage, back yard, rear yard. 📷
LAUNDRY: $5/wash, dry on line outdoors. No dryer.
Please conserve water and electricity, it's super important, thanks heaps. 🌏
We encourage recycling of packaging, food wrappers and containers, and we collect food scraps for composting. ♻️
We also recycle any left over travel clothes you might like to hand on. We wash them and take them to the local hospice shop.👚

Belle Salle eau, agréable. Tres propre. Bon emplacement pour prendre bus et train pour les visites. Nous conseillons vivement.

Basker & Janet are very welcoming and wonderful hosts.
A very handy spot if you’re in the city, especially if you are going to an event at Eden Park. They keep the bathroom very clean and tidy. I would definitely stay again.

Janet and Basker are great hosts!
They are open minded and help to get to the hidden gems in Auckland. To get to the city centre it’s only a short bus drive.
The bathroom is perfect and got an amazing shower!

The hosts were amazing, they even offered us coffee in the morning.
Bathroom was super clean, lovely backyard to eat dinner or play cards. Felt very safe. We would definitely go back if we need another stay in Auckland in the future.

Janet and Basker were really friendly and welcoming, the drive was safe but we were there at the weekend and it was a bit noisy with cars passing with music blaring.
Access to fabulous bathroom - at any time - and always clean. Great local knowledge and recommendations for what you are looking for...would highly recommend 👍😁✅️ Thank you 🙏

Best spot in Auckland to stay with a campervan.
The host is very warm and friendly. Great getting to use a proper bathroom and washing machine. Easily the best option in Auckland and central location.

We‘ve stayed at Buskers and Janets place for 2 days.
We had a wonderful time and would recommend to stay here without doubt!

About 4 km from the center, so we walked. Both hosts were very friendly and helpful. Great bathroom and the option to use the garden. Unfortunately no dump station (which was also advertised) so we had to drive 6 km to the next dump station. Overall, great and we would come again. We spent two nights and slept very well.

Ideal location, easy to get public transport into the city for things like the ferry to Waiheke !

I stayed 2 nights at Baskers and Janets place.
They are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. This is not a classical campground but a wonderful safe place to park your campervan close to the city and have access to a nice outside dining area and the most fantastic bathroom I have had during my travels here in NZ. I will definitely come back.

Our stay with Janet and Basker in Auckland was absolutely wonderful!
We spent our first and last night of our four-week camping trip at their place and both times we felt incredibly welcomed. Upon arrival they greeted us warmly with a cup of tea and shared some great travel tips. They kindly allowed us to leave some of our luggage with them which was a huge help. Their home is very close to the airport, making it a perfect location for travelers. On our last night we enjoyed a lovely evening together, sharing a glass of wine and great conversation. We couldn’t have asked for a better start and end to our trip—highly recommended!

Great place for a central camper spot.
Basker and Janet are wonderful hosts, they were very friendly and accommodating. The hot shower was perfect, and the price is reasonable considering the location and amenities.
