Parking is available for your campervan at Basker and Janet's 👫💕 house in suburban Auckland. 🚎 🏡
You'll have access to a shared bathroom complete with shower, toilet and fresh towels.The bathroom is also used by the owners. After each shower 🚿 please use the squeegee to wipe down glass and tiles, thanks for being super helpful.
Kitchen facilities are not included with the parking spot (unless it's raining cats and dogs🌧️). Bbq is available. Free WIFI is included and there's an optional power outlet for you to plug into during your stay. 🛜🔌
Limited space and access so max length of van is 7m.

We also have a spacious and comfy double bedroom with private bathroom available. You'll have your own private access.
The bed is super-king and the sheets are cotton. Sheets and duvet, fresh towels, handwash and bodywash are provided plus free wifi.
There is a desk, couch and coffee table. You can use the kitchen (shared with owners) to prepare light meals, cups of tea, etc. You may use the fridge in the kitchen. After each shower 🚿 please use the squeegee to wipe down glass and tiles, it's super helpful, thanks.

All guest are welcome to hang out in the dining area, eat at the table, slouch on the couch. Feel free to hang out in the yard and use outdoor tables and chairs.
Please conserve water and electricity, it's super important, thanks heaps. ⚡
We encourage recycling of packaging, food wrappers and containers, and we collect food scraps for composting. ♻️
We also recycle any left over travel clothes you might like to hand on. We wash them and take them to the local hospice shop.🧥👚🧣

Basker and Janet were THE MOST welcoming and humble people I have ever met.
As soon as I arrived, they invited me into their home for tea, they showed me the CLEANEST bathroom and made me feel soo welcome in a new city, country and home. They were extremely accommodating and looked out for me, I felt very safe and happy here! Thank you, Basker and Janet, I will be visiting again!

Brilliant place to stay!
Baz and Janette the owners are simply the best.
Great priced, location is so close to the city, and was just overall a perfect addition to our trip. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Auckland to come here for a comfortable night sleep / gorgeous shower & bathroom / peaceful night sleep.

Great place to start your New Zealand trip.
Hosts are very friendly and involved. Any questions you have they can answer and anything you could need is close by. Facilities are great, though in winter the windows are also open a lot so it can be a bit cold while showering but other than that it has everything you need.
When we left the lady also gave us 2 beanies because she said it will be cold on the southern island and we didn't have any hats. She knitted them herself and they fit perfectly and are nice and warm.
Price you pay for the stay is well worth it.

There is free parking along the street and they are really close to town. Janet & Basker are great hosts and we had a lot of nice conversations with them over a cup of tea. They are very open and friendly people, they helped where they can and are on hand with tips and tricks. We would like to thank you both very much for the wonderful time you made unforgettable for us.

Wir waren zwei Nächte bei unseren Gastgebern und konnten ihre Gastfreundschaft sehr genießen..
Viele Tips bekommen. Gemütlich im Garten gefrühstückt. Ein gutes Badezimmer kann shared genutzt werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sofort wieder kommen.

A perfect place for exploring Auckland.
Janet was an excellent host with plenty of local information, tips and tricks. There is room on the drive for two vans with electric hook up for one of them. Use of a large garden with tables and a bbq. Also excellent washroom with large, hot shower. Morningside Station is 10 minute walk with direct access to central Auckland. (Make sure that you already have a HOP card as he station is unmanned and does not have a machine). We spent theee nights here and would thoroughly recommend it. Many thanks Janet and Basker.

Great spot in Auckland to park your car or campervan in a safe site at a lovely couples house.
You can use the bathroom facilities. 20 dollars pp for non powered.

By far the best place I stayed in all of the north island.
Basker and Janet are so lovely, and went above and beyond to help me in several ways. On top of that all, the wifi is great, the bathroom is clean and modern, and it’s in a great centrally located spot. And it’s super affordable! If you get the chance, I highly recommend staying here.

Basker and Janet were so welcoming and friendly.
We had access to a really clean bathroom + hot shower and power. Our van was around 7.2m long and we were able to slide in, but any larger might be tricky. Lots of bakeries, restaurants, etc within walking distance! Thanks for a great stay!!

At the end of our month trip through New Zealand we couldn’t have asked for better hosts than Basker and Janet.
Their hosting is second to none and they are extremely helpful giving us local tips and tricks.
In our last day before parting we sat and had coffee chatting which was a lovely gesture.
Would recommend anyone visiting Auckland to make this one of their stops as they give parking in the front of their house in their garden with use of a lovely bathroom and shower.

Lovely place to stay in the center of Auckland!
Janet and Basker are wonderful hosts, offering anything you may need on your journey. They graciously opened their home, granting a Wi-Fi, a hot shower, laundry, and kitchen services. As an international traveler in a camper van and on a budget, this place was truly a blessing. Not to mention all of the great local tips and suggestions they were able to give about surrounding areas to travel to. You definitely won’t regret staying here!

We stayed with Janet and Basker at the end of our 3 week campervan journey and it was the exact thing we needed.
They were very welcoming and hospitable. It was so lovely to take a warm shower, chat about our travels and to feel like we were parked right outside of our friends/families’ home. Also! The location was perfect—we didn’t have to deal with CBD traffic, noise, and the neighborhood was easy to get to. We were even able to walk to Eden Park for a rugby game. Would 100% come back again!
