Great spot to overnight after arriving to the country.

Next to a busy road so noisy, but if you're as tired as we were you'll sleep right through it and be ready for moving on the next morning.

As mentioned below a bit noisy because it's close to the highway but I thought of it as white noise and slept well.

Parking spots are levelled and toilets were ok. Only few spaces in designated area but the ranger didn't fine the other vans on a public holiday

    Closes at 21h00!

After visiting friends in Auckland we came here to rest, before continuing our journey, but the Parking closes at 9pm...

A big car park next to the sea and unfortunately next to the motorway so it’s pretty load but it was not that bad as expected.

Nevertheless there are clean toilets (closing at 9pm) and of course access to cold drinking water.

Yes it is quite noisy, also at night, as it’s next to a motorway, but still a decent place to freedom camp for one night!

5 parking lots that are even, close to the toilets, which are clean.. do get locked at night tho. Water fountain and rubbish bins, but I couldn‘t see a shower, as it was mentioned in the comment before… must say that the noises didn‘t bother me, as I sleep with ear plugs, with them it was hardly noticeable and I am very sensitive to noises

Camping next to the highway sure is a vibe for itself.

Toilets were okay and a shower in the morning mich appreciated. Quick walk to multiple beaches. Noise was okay, but probably not for people who sleep long.

its a rest area where cars can park.

toilet closes once the gate is closed (6pm/9pm), showers and fresh water is always avaliable.

Nothing special but the people around here are very nice!

Highway next to it so noisy, but it did not bother us that much.

Toilet closed during the night, cold shower outside if needed.

    Ok location for a night

The spot is nice (it’s better if you manage to park on the field’s side).

However the motorway is literally next to you, so be prepared to have cars passing by all night long (it wasn’t a major problem to sleep for us though).

Clean toilets are available, but they get closed (as well as the gate) at night. Water and a shower (cold) are available at all times. For the shower, bring your swimsuit as it is outside !

Not the quieter camp site (because of the road next to the parking), but it didn't bother us when sleeping.

There is toilets (clean), water fontain and a shower!! Very convenient and the Park behind the parking seems nice.
