The park has 2 campervan spots facing the ocean, and signs saying there are 3 allowed away from the ocean at the park entrance.

I seem to remember them saying only self-contained are allowed, even tho some websites are saying tents and cars are ok. The beach was blustery-as! Like, we went for a walk on the beach and gave it up after 3 minutes so as not to get blinded by sand. And there are sand dunes both above the beach and along the river. There's a minimal toilet facility by the beach -- a minute or two walk from the farther camping area -- not terribly well maintained.
