* AVOID!!
THIS IS A SCAM!! * We had booked our flights with travel agency “YOU Travel” in Tauranga who recommended we use Luxury Airport Shuttles for our outbound and return journeys, and so we followed this recommendation and paid in advance through “YOU Travel” for Luxury Airport Shuttles to take us both ways (outbound & return). Our outbound shuttle journey (ie, from home to Auckland Airport) was perfect (see separate review). However, our return shuttle journey on 1st June 2023 WAS SUBJECT TO A SCAM!! Specifically, after we arrived at Auckland Airport we phoned Luxury Airport Shuttles to notify them that our plane had arrived an hour late and we were currently stuck in one of the four queues at Customs and not to regard us as “no shows” … only to hear that they had cancelled our return journey without notice or refund, and would only take us if we paid an extra $184.71! We were otherwise stranded at Auckland Airport, so we had to pay by credit card over the phone, and we felt this was a SCAM!! We notified “YOU Travel” of this company’s behaviour and, after intervention from YOU Travel, Luxury Airport Shuttles offered to refund only $155.00 of this $184.71. We have not accepted this low-ball offer, and we intend to dispute this extra payment with our credit card company . * WE WILL NEVER USE THIS SCAM SHUTTLE COMPANY AGAIN!! *

DECEITFUL CALTEX -- I WON'T BUY FROM THERE AGAIN !!
Caltex Rotorua has all the facilities you would expect from a Caltex anywhere in NZ. However, to entice us to go there rather than to a rival, it advertised "BE HEARD! TELL US ABOUT YOUR VISIT AND YOU COULD WIN $500 STARCASH" on a leaflet, with the survey website address www.sfback.com/caltex/1224, which also contains the T&Cs. However, I when I tried this website address it merely returned the error message "310339 - Caltex Rotorua". The leaflet (which I still have) shows no end date or expiry date and so I presume the promotion is still ongoing. If the T&Cs show an end date then this is being kept a secret as the T&Cs are not available.
I have contacted Caltex about this, who referred me to Z Energy (with Case ID 576661), and Aiga of the Customer Service Team tells me that I must contact the site directly. Which site? Do you mean the invalid website? Or do you mean Starcash at Z Energy? My emails to Starcash remain unanswered, so this is just stupid advice from Aiga!
Tell Aiga to be less lazy and do something about this or, alternatively, pass my case on to someone competent.
