Paul is a really friendly down to earth guy who knows a tonne of interesting information. He makes a great guide. I think the strongest aspect of Green Glow is that Paul only takes one booking per day, so you can do whatever you like. We spent some time walking round in the caves, quite a bit of abseiling down some scary drops, and had some fun playing with the camera. If you have a DSLR, bring it along! Thanks Paul, keep up the amazing work.

Stunning scenery.
We saw snow, volcano craters, beautiful lakes, waterfalls - what more of a reason do you need to do this fantastic one day walk. We finished it in around 6.5 hours with a good number of breaks, so if you're young and fit I recommend you either take on one of the side-walks as well, or simply sit often and enjoy the view!

One of the best experiences I had while traveling in NZ.
Our guide, Jon, was full of information about the area we were in, and is a really great guy as well. He was very polite and always made us feel like we were taking part rather than just riding a boat down a river. I couldn't imagine a better guide. We did a grade 3 trip, and will definitely be back in the future for some more. If you're still umming and ahhing about this, go ahead and do it. You'll have an amazing time.

A really slick and well run operation made for an excellent day.
I chose the full-day hike which I'd definitely recommend for anyone who has the time. You'll get much further up and see the interesting stuff. I think I would have been disappointed in the half-day hike. The provided gear was excellent, and we had plenty of time on the ice. The best thing though was our guide, Tom - really friendly guy, very knowledgeable, and intent on making sure everyone had a great time. Two thumbs up!
