The reception staff were lovely!
Some of the nicest we’ve come across in our 6 week trip. The toilets and showers were clean. The showers all had heated towel rails and infrared heat lamps. The kitchen was quite small for the size of the camp though and it was quite expensive at $52 for a unpowered for two adults, but we were able to do the tongariro crossing from here for an extra $50 dollars each so we paid for the convience.

Brilliant location, just a hour outside of christchurch and hour to kaikoura, Reasonably priced compared to other campsites, we payed $27 for two adults on a unpowered site with unlimited wifi each.
There are only two toilets and two showers in each the ladies and the mens, but neither myself or my partner had to wait once so does work pretty well. Also the site was really nicely presented with flowers it almost felt like you were staying in someones back garden.

Really friendly owner.
we arrived quite late without a booking and he came down from what I can only assume was his house and booked us when we called the number provided. Large allocated spaces, in a picturesque background, toilets and showers were clean,well kept and of good quality. There was even a hair dryer available to use in the toilets. Laundry was fine there was two washers and two dryers. There was also free WiFi which worked pretty well.

Literally the worst holiday park ive stayed in, in my 6 weeks in new zealand.
We stayed in a cabin that was $80 a night .it came with no bedding and well i think ive seen nicer prison cells. The walls very extremely thin. There was no were near enough cooking facilites for all the guests. Every kitchen was overcrowded. The campervan spots are so closed together with little privacy. It is sposed to be a superior park but i dont know how. The only reason i havent given it 1 is because it was clean and in a good location.
