Nice motorcamp in Whangmata has free wifi for $22 a night unpowered site .Close to main street of Whangmata .Has a large kitchen with fridge and freezer with tv and free to air channels but bring your
own plates and pots has had none no sofa in kitchen just a wooden bench so better to use a camp chair .Shower are ,$1 for 5 mins of hot water

Nice doc campgrounds $15 as one of the excluded places on the doc campground pass so can't use it there .Big open camping areas but in some areas ground was wet areas and 2 BBQs to use and has hike
to Wentworth Falls about 90 mins return from campground .It's about 8 KMs from Whangamata .

Right by a nice beach hike to end on right there was a canyon in rocks very scenic unless you see track don't know canyon is there

Nice freedom park area but very windy has toilet near by and a walk around lake .but could be loud area as near speedway site as well on Blaketown breakwall which is opposite Cobden breakwall you can
also stay in self contained vechice it's more sheltered from wind but is not on Rankers site I'm there tonite needs to be added to Rankers as nice spot better than Riverside spot also

Great place to stay only 4 kms from Hawera has toilets and sink to use nice sunsets can see Mt taranaki on a clear day .Big parking areas says 3 vehicles only .Walk to beach about 500 mts downa hill but
high sea cliffs can walk about 5 kms along beach but it's tidal so be careful on Beach .No phone signal on my phone can be windy also

Rankers is wrong not only for 6 vehicles can park any where in a huge area beach or lake or river spots No toilets closes would be back at main beach so need to be self contained .Very scenic area can
see kapiti island from beach from other side as was in Parapariki beach 2 days if there good biking at Queen Elizabeth regional park but have to stay in holiday park there only rated it

but gravel road from turnoff into village no shops so bring all food and water

Just there for 2 days great place to car camp for $7,50 a nite even small kitchen with on demand hot water and 2 power points for charging devices and a out door gym and $2 for hot shower walking tracks
in forest and down to the river with views of the wind turbines if near Palmerston jorth about 14 km drive to ashhurst domain be honest and pay
