Huge campground, you can choose between down by the river (busier) or up at the top which is less busy but near the road.
River is good for swimming, there are all sorts of facilities including a nice deck overlooking the river, showers (paid), an aviary, cheeky ducks and Weka, and of course sandflies.
Owner super friendly and helpful, great value for money ($25 for 2 people).

4 clean toilets but the campground is quite small, not a lot of sites - its compact.
Site is very nice overall, there are some full time gold panners, some with interesting stories and some seem to want to keep to themselves. Lots of shade if you like, and some shy but curious weka.

Nice big campsite, with the Clutha river right next to it.
Close proximity to Wanaka so decent value for that. Amenities are average, bit smelly and not super clean. Most of the campground will get morning sun but maybe you can get lucky.

Facilities were good and clean, campsite very small but next to the lake.
The tent location was a bit squishy and possibly exposed, and overall it was very busy on a mid January Thursday.
The view over the lake was great for sunset, we didn't find many sandflies but there had been a small rain shower earlier which may have something to do with it.

Very nice campsite next to the river, most of it is very open without much shade.
There are 2 shelters, some BBQ pits and the toilets are ok (long drops). Sandflies of course, and there is a marked track around the lake but didn't walk it.

Nice site right by the river where you can swim in a calm spot, or drift out into the mild current.
Sites are assigned by the DoC manager at the café, so maybe have a look round so you can tell them which sites you want.
Hot showers are free, kitchen and toilets very clean, nice decked area with tables inside and outside.
Couple of tracks around, did the waterfalls one; waterfall 1 bit dull but waterfall 2 is ok and if you are extra keen you can take a little dip/cold shower.
Seemed a bit expensive at $18pp but maybe that's the going rate up these ways.
